Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I was really tempted to park my van somewhere nearby but LA county has the "no vehicle camping" rule everywhere and you can't even camp in walmarts.
Doesnt stop the homeless from doing it.
So Cruel World does have a map of sorts on their site and shuttle info. And prking at that shuttle lot isnt terrible!
SHUTTLE:
There is FREE continuous shuttle service from Parsons Parking Lot to & from the festival.
Parking will be available at the Parsons lot on day of show for a $10 (Credit cards only)/day rate with free shuttle from Parsons Lot to the festival grounds.
Shuttles will run between Parsons and Rose Bowl lot B from 11:00am until an hour after the conclusion of the event. (*Please note at this time, masks are required for all public transportation
The only other festival I've been to at this venue was Arroyo Seco 2018 where it was absolutely gorgeous and green and peaceful. Loooved the vibe. I'll be disappointed if the grass is shit for this or if we get pummeled by a heat wave.
Any suggestions for a nice dinner for the wife and I on Friday night? Thinking about checking out Griffith Observatory for the first time, so dinner somewhere around there, or Pasadena. It's her birthday weekend and took a bit of convincing to get her to come along. The main selling point was that she can hit up a fancy Pasadena spa on Sunday while I go back to the fest
Entire weekend is just gonna be one long Despacio conflict. Gonna have to force myself to not spend 6 hours a day in there. Can't fucking wait!

Originally Cruel World was set to end at 11PM on Saturday and 10PM on Sunday but they were able to extend the curfew to 10:45PM on Sunday. I wonder if they will be able to negotiate it all the way until 11PM by the time TANP comes around?

A friend of mine is a server at Maestro in Pasadena and they have really good upscale Mexican food and bomb cocktails, especially if you like mescal. Last time I went they had seating outside and live music.

Just look up some places in Los Feliz if youre gonna be there. Il Capricio is a nice little italian place.
Is VIP worth it for this venue? I'm guessing it doesn't have guest-pass like viewing areas of the Clubhouse tix but I what is "Access to expansive VIP areas adjacent to multiple stages."? Is that like the VIP bar next to the main stage at Coachella?

I had a guest ticket to Arroyo Seco the Neil Young year which was at the same venue, and the VIP area was pretty much like the main stage beer garden at Coachella. Look up a map, it stretched the entire length of the festival so you could see the two main stages at either end. Not sure if VIP has pit access at TANP, it did at Arroyo Seco which was great. Without pit access at the stages I don’t see the point, you’d be paying double to have a nicer place to drink.

Well this is going to have more than 3 stages so they could do the viewing area thing. FYf Had the vip viewing area in 2017 so this might be the same.

Little Dom’s is usually the go to spot in Los Feliz, nice ambi and good Italian food. Encanto has good food and drinks but the vibe on the inside feels like a dive bar. Messhall is elevated bar food / bbq and the drinks are great. If you end up at Messhall, they have a parking lot, but you can also park for free in the neighborhood.

Here's the venue map for Cruel World. Guess TANP will be both sides of the stadium like the proposal map they had for arroyo secco and still be a pretty tight fit.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Very excited for TANP after experiencing the set up for Cruel World. Gonna be a blast seeing LCD on that main stage - tons of great spots, even if you’re not up front.

I was thinking of parking a couple of miles away and riding my bike in. Do you think it’s do able? Was parking/traffic a pain?

It’s gonna be a pain getting out on a bike. They had a bunch of lanes blocked and merging to get to the main roads heading out. Lane splitting won’t be easy.
Left Morrissey last night during First of the Gang to Die and got to 134 within 10 minutes of leaving the parking lot. I just didn’t follow the cars in my lot - they all didn’t head towards the back of our lot, which had an exit not being used. Idiots all went up front and got in a long line to loop back around.
