Could be a Tame Impala Sound System set if anything, wouldn't be a headliner but definitely something unique. Hopefully its not a DJ set.

It's definitely possible. He hasn't announced a tour yet but he'll be back in the US in mid-September for a couple shows on the East Coast (Firefly on 9.22 and in Queens on 9.23) so fingers crossed he can scoot over to the West Coast shortly after!
So I went allllll the way back to the lead up social media posts from Daze/Phil for the 2019 Fest, and by early May they were hyping that the lineup was coming. By mid-May, the first phase (including 1 headliner) was revealed. Now most of us know each year the timing and rollout is a bit different, but I don't expect them to keep us waiting til late May. So basically I bet we'll get something within the next 2 weeks, along with the general ticket sale starting.
if they decide to add some more electronic/house this year, jamie xx (or nic jaar) makes a lot more sense to me than someone like bonobo who i've seen mentioned a few times. love bonobo but he does not fit imo.

I think both would fit in quite nicely, but we'll see.

I'm hoping too... I'm unable to buy anything presale these days, my life has become unpredictable and I'm always doing things last minute. It's worked out for the most part, also thanks to friends coming up with stuff at the last minute!
