3 repeat headliners feels a bit uninspired, but I like them all so whatever
Same here. I can only think it's because those three will draw in huge numbers which the fest probably needs. I'm stoked for Iggy because he always rules and was great in 2017, when most of my crew didn't get to see him. At least Tame is doing a full album show, I'm a huge sucker for those. King Gizzard I could honestly take or leave, I'm not really into them much anymore. Their recent output has been fairly uninspired as well. But the undercard will probably be great.
Butterfly 3000 and Omnium Gatherium have been some of their most exciting and best work imo

after seeing them 5 times at prima, I’ve learned that they can just pull out whatever songs they want and it’ll go hard

Iggy feels like who you call when Bjork pulls out last minute for that Primavera South America money. Bjork feels like who you call Portishead finally says no.

Butterfly was my favorite since PMDB. I was kind of let down by OG. I see the appeal for big fans of the band though.

Was about to say the same! The KG and LW albums were kinda meh/standard. But Butterfly and Omnium are amazing.

who, king gizzard? yeah i see the appeal for big fans of theirs. luckily there will be something else awesome happening while they're playing. their sound is just kind of played out for me.
The top isn't my favorite but there's some good stuff in there. I feel like that's a big drop off from gizz to Chicano Batman, but maybe they're bigger than I think.

Chicano is from LA. They get the hometown bump.
All I had to see was The Armed and thats enough. Also Soul Glo
Super stoked about Cymande and Seun Kuti. A bit bummed that Kikagaku isn't on there, but glad I hedged that one by getting tix for the SF show the weekend before the fest. There's some really great undercard stuff in there.

Holy shit I just realized they weren't on there. That's bizarre. Gotta score Denver Tix now
