Oof. I’m not really feeling this line up. I was hoping for a little more, but maybe Tame Impala took up a chunk of their budget. Feels like…I’ve already seen a lot of these bands before.

this is my dissapoitment... its just a remix of old festivals it seems like. i'm getting 99 dollars worth out of this though, so fuck it. there's a couple of names i'm excited about that i didnt' expect, but the second group of Chicano, Skye BBNG doesnt' really do much for me. JPEG is a cool get though

Yeah Cortex and Cymande are the true sub-headliners in my heart.

There’s certainly some good stuff here, but I’ve seen Tame and Gizz a ton and I’m not sure that + Iggy + some smaller stuff like JPEG, Clipping, Badbadnotgood (now performing without their founding member), and Daniel Rossen (wish this was Department of Eagles) gets me out there from LA for three days.
Super hype I snagged three presales for this. So am I understanding correctly that I need to buy a camping pass and a car camping pass? One car camping pass but then everyone camping at that car needs a separate camping pass?
Everyone needs a camping pass and if you want to camp with a vehicle the vehicle will also need a vehicle camping pass. if you a re camping but parking the vehicle in the GA lots, you'll also need a parking pass.

I'm also curious about this. A friend was telling me to absolutely not get the personal camping pass as they were only checking car camping but I don't want to show up and get boned for not having it
if you show up thursday they will definitely check everyone's passes. as far as the camp activities the rest of the weekend? they haven't checked passes to get back into camping yet, but who knows if they will this year.

Sounds like he just got lucky as well as a friend of his whose gone previous years and said he got away with not having one. I'll get one!
I got lots of research to do myself. I'll gladly take those 3 headliners even though I've seen them all before like some of y'all...But then u throw in The Marias, Perfume Genius Men I Trust, Pond, Fuzz, The Armed, Slift, etc. and I'm all in.

I don't think it was luck. they definitely haven't ever checked for camping passes to get into camping Friday-Sunday night. the only time is if you arrive on thursday and that's because they are cecking everyone's tickets and stuff.
Zero regrets dropping $189x2 for me and my girl for fest/camp passes in December. Having gone in '16, '17, & '18, we knew we needed to return this year.

Seems almost criminal to not have Kikagaku play this year.
This and Parquet Courts not being on the lineup are true bummers. Also was hoping that Altin Gun would return but alas..
Like past years, when they do the daily lineups, they'll probably add a handful of bands. And given that COVID is still fucking shit up, they probably have a couple backup acts lined up just in case.

Seeing a DD size hole in black midi's tour and they're supported by BCNR for the west coast. I could see them thrown in as a late add. Some of the other names being bounced around would also be huge adds. Already great though. One of those fests where I know I could enjoy almost every booking, but haven't ever been able to make it happen. Which probably makes the lineup a lot better as far as repeats go.
Massively regretting having doubts and missing the pre-sale. Do prices usually tank closer to the fest?
