re: The Grateful Dead/Dead and Co., my love has really increased since the onset of my college years for a number of reasons. namely, John Mayer in Dead and Co., talking to Phish fans at Roo 2019 and subsequently becoming more intrigued by jam/cult following, Long Strange Trip, etc.
it’s surprising to see how many people i know around my age going to these Dead and Co, Phish, and other jam shows, and i think they have all kinda fed into one another and helped all of those bands out over the past 5 or so years. maybe i’m a bit wrong in that perspective, but that’s just what i’ve seen from my own experience
that's because you went to ole piss, I don't think there's a town half as obsessed with jam bands as Oxford
i mean you’re not wrong about Oxford’s infatuation, but i really don’t think that played a role

The Cure would be fine, I don't think they'd sell significantly more or less tickets to Bonnaroo than Tool did. And like Tool, if they don't have another strong headliner or two on the bill, sales aren't going to be great. Stevie Nicks was a #2 on the cancelled Gov Ball 2020 lineup, The Cure isn't any smaller than that.
The prospect of a 3+ hour Cure set at Bonnaroo has always intrigued me, and they'll have an easier time mobilizing the zealots if they make it clear that's the case.

Don’t put it past Kevin to tour the same record, with the same production for 3+ years, he did it with Currents. I could see Roo booking them and have that be the end of the Slow Rush touring cycle, but at that point, if you haven’t already seen Tame then you’ve been under a rock. Already seen Tame twice on this cycle and it was the same exact setlist/show, no desire to see it a third time.
Gaga makes a ton of sense, but without a new record not sure we’ll see that happen. She’s finally touring Chromatica this summer after 2+ years and there’s strong rumors she’s signed on for the Joker sequel, as well as a new Wes Anderson project, those could take up a big portion of her 2023. She isn’t an artist known to put together a show as a one-off due to the high production value she brings (that Coachella set was an example of why she doesn’t do one-offs, it paled compared to her arena shows).

I don't doubt that Tame might tour more next year with the same production and set, they seem to want that money right now, but it'd be such a lame booking. I guess they would sell some tickets (not as many as they would if they hadnt got themselves so oversaturated) but still
Gaga seems like she'd be super expensive, she's on a stadium tour right? Not out of the question to book stadium acts but it's a rare thing nowadays

If we actually somehow got The Cure I probably would try not to bitch about much, but god, please, no more Chance the Rapper. Society has progressed passed the need for Chance the Rapper.
PUT YOUR HANDS UP IF YOU LOVE GOD!! Corniest shit I've ever been present for lol.

We would have to receive some form of punishment for getting the cure.

You're right. I'm still mad I didn't go to Warpaint that fateful night.
Lonely Island is the worse show I've ever seen idk what to tell you
I know you’ve seen at least 10 shows in your lifetime (no doubt it’s waaay more), but you’re really gonna go with The Lonely Island as the worst show you’ve ever seen?
::edit:: And I don’t hate everythin’. Just mostly popular bands/artists that InfoRoo absolutely adores. ::edit::

Oh yeah. I decided that the wookbass that was playing at Kalliope at the same time was a better option.

To each their own. I’d prolly do the same thing (well I’d go back to camp) if my only options at the time were Tool/Radiohead/Deftones.
