So do they post a schedule for that Toyota Music Den later or what? I can't find mention of that anywhere and didn't get that email some people were referring to about it.
The Toyota Music Den has been a thing at Lolla for years and they usually released the schedule for that within a week or 2 of the fest. I would assume this will be the same. For anyone wondering, at Lolla it was never any new artists, just 4 or 5 artists per day that are already on the lineup playing a 2nd 30-45 minute set in the Toyota tent. Place was cool though, intimate as hell, saw a few good shows there back at Lolla 17 and 18

Cool. Sounds like this one might be a little different because Shannon & the Clams are supposedly going to play there and they're not on the original lineup.

Saturday Plaza 7. Shannon and the Clams @ 3pm.
Or isn't that the same thing?
I'm not seeing anything on the schedule at 3pm on Sat on Plaza 7?

What are some of the undercard bands everyone is pumped for? I see people saying Weval a lot. What else? Also is this the only music message board that still gets burn these days?
Mine top three smaller bands that I'm looking forward to are Indigo De Souza, The Dip, Daniel Donato (absolute shredder on guitar).

I think that's something completely different because todays email blast from Roo specifically mentions "the Toyota Music Den in Centeroo".

I’d never heard of Garcia Peoples before their addition to this lineup, but they’re my kind of space jam.

Not going, but if I were:
R: Kenny Mason > Nothing > The Weather Station > Weval > Indigo de Souza > Garcia Peoples > Sons of Kemet
F: Claud > Briston Maroney > Noga Erez > Tove Lo > Regrettes > JBrekkie > War on Drugs > Chicks > Sparkle City Disco > wander around and vibe > Disclosure/Gizz > Goose > Lane 8
Sa: Cory Henry > Benee > Joy Oladokun > Femi Kuti > slowthai > Superjam > CHVRCHES > Billy Strings > Tool > 100 gecs > Channel Tres (WitW)
Su: Sierra Ferrell > All Them Witches > Lettuce/Tash > Tierra > Herbie > Stevie > Jauz (WitW)
Schedule turned out pretty well for my tastes tbh. Sunday is p rough other than Herbie but I love how that Thursday looks. Might have to pull the last-minute trigger if resale dips around the 200 level

The “secret show” at House of Yes is totally Arcade Fire, right?
LOL. I have zero idea what to expect. I just have super romanticized memories of 1) A Punch Brothers secret set at The Grind and 2) Edwards Sharpe + TMZ parading from Which to Solar Stage unexpectedly. Both shows are part of our crew’s Bonnalore.
And now I feel old AF because The Grind and Solar Stage are no longer things and I’m typing this in my kids’ room under a blanket so as not to disturb them with my phone light.

Overall I'm very pleased. My worst conflict is Goth Babe vs Turnpike. Leaning Goth Babe > Dillon Francis but I know that Turnpike campground set is going to be special.

I still gotta check the deep undercard but certainly Weval, Lettuce*, Bas (rapper), Cory Henry for sure.
New Lettuce has been dripping out ahead of their new album release set for June. They put out their 3rd song which is a collaboration with one Bootsy Collins called Keep That Funk Alive which features Bootsy (formerly of James Brown, P-Funk and Bootsy’s Rubber Band). I saw them 3x last month at JF, and all the shows were good. None were best ever territory as they went a little more experimental on this tour. But it was still dripping with funk which there isn’t enough of.

Like, if this were a draft and someone chad 2/3 stages dark at the same time on Thursday they'd get dinged for it. It takes so little effort to shift them by like fifteen minutes and consistently have two choices at all times.
They could also make some slight changes throughout the weekend and provide fifteen more minutes per set.
I mean, the lineup is what it is at this point but the schedule could be better executed.
Anything exceptional going on before 6 on Saturday? I'll prob want to make it out of camp before then but I can take or leave slowthai and I'm not too familiar with much else.

Backseat Lovers, Daniel Donato, and Moore Kismet should all be solid sets!

I listened to joy oladukun yesterday, I'll probably go check that out.
But femi kuti is a must see for me. Afrobeat funk. Son of the legendary fela. It's gonna be awesome.
I want to go check out Cory Henry too. Never seen him (I'm sure esteban has). He's a former member of snarky puppy and a phenomenal jazz musician.

We should get all the major summer festivals together and make them pick their lineups via draft using inforoo rules.
The artists have no say, if they get picked, they have to play. No Europe fests that summer for them.
