Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I wish we had more info on the superjam. really want to go check out the LP Giobbi Dead House set and they conflict.
my default when it comes to bonnaroo superjam conflicts is to just skip the superjam because it probably won't be particularly memorable. but i feel like with antonoff's connections, and his decent history with bonnaroo, he could actually be the one to make the superjam worthwhile again.
sucks that it takes like half an hour to get from centeroo to where in the woods unless you have a VIP ticket. they'll be no bouncing around between those two sets.

Tool fans: I want a good spot for Tool, ideally the pit but I know their visuals/lights are pretty legit. Do you guys think it would be better to be a little bit further back (still a good spot) to get that full effect or hit the pit?

As a Tool fan, get in the pit. If you feel like it might look better from farther back once you're there, you can always leave. Main reason I'd go to Roo this year would be to pit Tool.

I doubt they’ll use the light curtain up front because it’s designed for arenas, I doubt it’ll be hard to get pit and the back area of the pit near the soundboard might be your best spot.
He probably will. I haven’t actually enjoyed going to a Porter set since like 2013. Not that the production work isn’t top notch regardless of what auspice he’s playing under. But all of those shows since have been weak musically. At least he puts his heart into what he does unlike super weak shit like Illenium or Jauz.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Some of these conflicts are going to make for some pretty empty shows. With J Cole, Gizz, and Disclosure all conflicting those could be some small crowds.
here's a pic during the last song just to show the view we had from our seats.
i've seen Tool from far back, this tour i saw them pretty damn close. IMO it was fucking awesome being close. better than far back. far back still rules, either way you win, but i'm glad you're going for pit.
EDIT: maynard is really fun to watch live, so that is another benefit of being close.
