So the one entrance thing was a nightmare yes of course, worse than even how much I complained about it. However…. After the first night security was a joke and only checked me for water in my camelbak (lol). I have never snuck in so much crap in GA. So I saved a ton of money on alcohol and food lmfao. Overall net neutral for me in the end
S: King Gizz, Sons of Kemet, Billy Strings A: Tool, The Chicks, Andy Frasco, 100 gecs, probably Goose if I had stayed more than 20 minutes B: Superjam, VNSSA (Wednesday), Japanese Breakfast, Nothing, Clozee C: Arlo Parks, The Regrettes, Flipturn (Wednesday) Kenny Mason, Indigo de Souza (wish I had seen more than just the end), Noga Erez D: Gryffin, Whiskey Meyers
The last 2-3 songs of Indigo's set were the best part. The first part was low energy and kinda dragged.
Some of y’all owe Stevie Nicks an apology for doubting her, she killed that shit!!
What a perfect ending. We were about 10-15 feet from the pit rail, left side. Amazing spot for a great show. Phone died last night , just now catching up on everyone’s posts. Whew what an awesome weekend
Quick Sunday recap. Started at Lettuce then went to Tash, got to see Cincinnati for a minute as well which was nice. Both sets were very solid. Then saw Ratliff who wasn’t bad. Had a king of pops and rested our legs so more. Then headed to Puscifer, met up with esteban. Show was rocking and hella weird, totally one of the more enjoyable surprises of the weekend. Then we got right under the tent for Herbie which was super fun way to wind down a wonderful weekend. Then we got about 10-15 feet from the rain of the pit for Stevie. Closest I have ever been to a headliner in 6 years. The crowd was all the way into it. Singing and cheering super loud. My gf and sister got their tickets mainly for Stevie and were blown away. Pretty sure Stevie is gonna take my #1 for the weekend. As a huge Petty fan , he’s the main reason I came my first year in ‘13 it was a fucking magical time to sing Free Falling. I’ll post some more positive and negative thoughts later. Just got back from driving 7 hours and want to cuddle my dogs.

What a weekend. I'm prepared for the razzing that might come for this but I spent about 30 minutes looking for the Inforoo group camping and failed.
I cant remember if we aren't allowed to talk taping or webcast rips or the like but blink once if there is a place (dime) that I should/could be looking.
And long live Bonnaroo. There will be tweaks and improvements but boy did it feel good to be back on the farm.
Home, unpacked, showered, drinking my last high life and chilling in the pool with the kids.
Had a great time, will update more later. VIP made lines nonexistent and it was super easy to get around centeroo and back to camp. We timed it and made a run from camp to hattie B's and back for vegetarian hot chicken in under 16 minutes during j Cole. Still don't know if proximity was worth the extra cash, but ignoring value props VIP ruled. AC toilets, warm showers, house of yes drag brunch was super fun, quick and easy to pop over to where in the woods. Campsite was definitely more chill than GA. Lots of couples that kept to themselves and it felt like we missed out on some the weird stuff that can happen out there in GA. But we also could see and hear the what shows perfectlyx
Pit line at what was super weird tho. Tried to go for Billy but you could only enter stage left and I wasn't about to walk my ass across the what field. Couldnt figure out how to get into the TOOL line but we got a great spot on the VIP with chairs and they let us bring in a cooler of beers and snacks so it was a great. Tool was so fucking loud. Couldn't believe the volume without obvious clipping/distortion/saturation.
Centeroo felt smaller. I thought I'd hate the new location of the brooers tent but instead just hated it altogether. No brewery reps to talk about their beers and just generally a clusterfuck.
Thank God for VIP lounge because portos were hard to come by. It was right by brooers so I could beer and pee in a single run. bathrooms move quickly but without the tower entrance that whole building seems poorly placed and underutilized. Bathroom situation was definitely the worst at That tent.
Kemet, frasco, goose, gizz all killed it. Billy fucking strings>tool was hella cool. Marc rebillet was trying to do a bit and had his keyboard and some gear out in the field was outside of this tent. We stumbled upon it thinking it was wooks playing with lights. He had some technical difficulties and ran off to the stage. We have a great gif loop of the loop daddy taking off running and slamming right into my wife. His set was fun, I was really only there bc my group was but enjoyed drinking and dancing and embracing the dumb. He seems like a genuine dude though. Pigeons after ward I got weird.
Stevie was a great closer and exceeded expectations. Danced at jauz at WITW till bed time.
Saw some of y'all, shoulda seen more of y'all. Walking through the campground as the storm approached was crazy - gusts would come and blow away ez ups and and a chorus of "woo" would ripple through the campgrounds. I made guac for everyone nearby us in VIP as we held down our shelters. Glad it brought cooler temps.

You're not a true infofooer until you've tried and failed to find inforoo brunch/camp inforoo lol
We have a specific flag we sign with two young kids faces (kids of members...nothing weird) that is easily identifiable we'll have to get out there more in the future
Absolutely incredible roo. Couple notes: -Tuesday entry availability made the process so much less stressful. We were the only 4 cars in our tollbooth upon entry
-Attitudes of reddit vs inforoo probably due to reddit usually being littered with one off horror stories, lost phones/keys, etc (things that generally happen to younger inexperienced attendees)
-Weather was amazing after the short storm Friday
-Low population made it super easy to continually get around, and organically meet up with friends
-seemed like the one entrance thing was resolved after Thursday, probably mostly due to people entering at much different times as opposed to Thurs
-Even though the lineup was let's say "light" pretty much every show I saw exceeded my expectations
-Pit lines at what were a shit show. People were getting crushed going into Stevie last night, absolutely no organization, and definitely inexperienced security. Security there in my experience has been Fort Knox (shoutout to coach in past years). Didn't see the usual faces there. And 2 organized lines into 1 disorganized one, not a great experience.
Overall great Roo experience, I think with a few tweaks they can really really nail it in 23, especially after sending most of this year's attendees back home with good stuff to report. 2016 into 2017 I believe had a similar effect. Happy Roo y'all!

i’ve posted about it on here but there’s a youtube channel called Ganji-Videos that’s been uploading streams. i don’t know if that’s breaking a rule but i feel like youtube videos are fair game. might get taken down soon at the very least

I’ll post my full review later but I just have to ask. Does anyone know what was up with the dude screaming “stop the violence” in the tool pit during the quiet part and then screamed other shit and left. He was also in the Puscifer pit and he was killing everyone’s vibe, screaming fuck you to them on stage, saying fuck you to the people around him, pushing everyone and screaming help and security in a mocking way when others were not enjoying how he was acting and wanting help or security to do something (which the didn’t)

He also occasionally got down on hands and knees and crawled through the people in the pit, sometimes switching to a bear crawl. He even did this on the part with the rocks, wearing only socks and a pair of shorts. A couple times, he grabbed my shoulders from behind, and yelled, “Whoa! You’re a big dude!”
Edit: I’m pretty sure this is also the same guy who was standing beside me with his significant other in the pit for the beginning of The Chicks set Friday night. At that time, he seemed a little rough around the edges, but perfectly nice. Whatever he took on Saturday, he (and only he) must have thought it would be a good idea to do it again on Sunday.

yeah my friends all saw him crawling around on the ground. And I’m cool with that. I’ve seen someone backwards crabwalking in a pit during Tool at Voodoo. I get it, it’s the vibe. But the screaming weird crazy stuff during the set at the quiet parts on purpose really killed the vibes at both of those sets for a few minutes. Luckily both sets were so amazing it was easy to get back into it. Also the touching and grabbing people thing isn’t cool either.

I didn’t have any issues with getting into the pit until Stevie. I walked right into the pit for Tai Verdes, The Chicks, Femi Kuti, Billy Strings, Tool, and Puscifer. Walking over to What after Herbie Hancock, we saw a line going out into the lawn, so we got in line. When the line started moving, we followed the line. Then, some guy in a different line that I hadn’t previously seen started yelling at everyone in this line that we were fucking assholes and that his line was the true line. So I went over and found the end of that line. Ultimately, that line never moved, and people started hopping the barrier or moving it and walking around. We didn’t want to be those guys, so we just watched from the Mound, which turned out to be a pretty great way to wind down the weekend.

Tried for Billy Strings pit only like 25 minutes into his set and they told me that they weren't letting anyone else in anymore and it was closed. That's was new to me because there was still space and obviously some people leave midway and clear room. Used to always be able to at least line up and wait for some folks to leave. Really didn't know I had to be right on time for that one
