Yeah. It definitely was a Top 10 show for me. He's always raucous. We have part 2 tonight where I'll also get a shot to see Kenny Mason who a bunch of people told me was great at Bonnaroo - I just didn't go in that early on Thursday. So that should be cool to get the make-up set.

I just read a comment about how a cop grabbed someone's arm who was smoking a joint and told them he didn't want to catch them again. The redditor was "literally shaking" and was convinced they were "assaulted" by the cop. 😂

Anyone else having trouble telling people at work who you saw? Answering someone who just lives in the normal business world is a struggle. I'm trying to work up the courage to put some bass in my voice when I respond with "Stevie Nicks, Disclosure... remember they did Latch back in the day? and you may not know this but they actually did Talk with Khalid last year... no they didn't play that one though, ummm also Tool. Oh ok yeah they are a 90s rock band that has like a cult following. Oh wait Flume!!!! Flume I saw Flume!!!!"

Holy shit it is a weird place. Some decent peeps, but my god the paranoia about supposed undercovers...which I'm pretty sure they think is everyone over 30.
A bunch of them also left early because of "the heat". Others think they were being followed. Others cried at every show apparently. Lots of 1st time molly and psychedelic users I can tell 🤣

a few seconds later Backpack guy turns to me and goes "did you see that..." I say yeah, he responds "that was an undercover cop, theyre everywhere man be careful" scoffs and left

The only slightly minor issue I saw was two unmarked black SUV’s with “Caution K-9” stickers on the back. I think they rolled down our camp lane early Thursday afternoon. I figure if they wanted to go that hard, they could bust almost every tent outside of Soberoo. But I didn’t encounter any other issues all weekend and certainly no hassles despite doing whatever tf I wanted to.
As a bald person over 30 who dresses eclectically at fests, it’s fun experiencing people thinking I am both selling drugs and/or am a narc. I get both sides of the coin depending on the day’s outfit.

In 2019 I was hanging out on the What/Which bridge waiting for friends before Phish, kinda dancing around and 3 different people came up to me and asked if I was selling cocaine. I thought 'either someone else hanging around this bridge is selling cocaine or undercovers are out..', then when my friends came over they told me I had powdered sugar from a funnel cake I'd just eaten on my face/beard. Lmfao.
2011 I was three months into thruhiking the Appalachian Trail when I took a week long break for Bonnaroo. Had the look and the smell of a superwook. Got profiled to hell and back all weekend.
