I was wearing a fanny pack and pulled out some bud to pack a bowl and some girl came up asking if I was selling. I said I only had a little bit for personal and then offered her a free small nug but she declined. Free bud? I think I maybe threw her off by saying I only had a little bit I knew I had more at camp

During Dead and Company a couple years ago I was so far gone and in my Bonnaroo spirit of always trying to give/share with people (I always purchase drinks for the folks behind me in the beer line each year) I thought it would be so magical to just hand someone some mushies as a magical gift from the Bonnaroo gods. I walked up to this random dude and said "Merry Christmas!" and put my hand out and handed it to him. He stuck his hand out received it like a churchgoer receiving a wafer cracker from their priest. I was so happy to tell him the beauty that lied within his palm.
What instead happened was the guy immediately threw it on the ground like it was trash. I was so sad for one half of one second, then immediately looked up at him geeking out smiling and skipped off into the darkness. I always wonder what he thought happened.

Speaking of bud...
Am I the only one that just went full legal this year and brought Delta-8 and Delta-10?
I've had good experiences with both. Less risk of potential paranoia...just takes more hits to get where you want. But we did enjoy being able to smoke absolutely wherever we wanted without worry. It was liberating..
That said, gd how much longer till TN simply legalizes it?! How backwards can we be and for how much longer?
How long did you end up being without a wallet? Like 2 full days?
1.5. Lost Saturday recovered Sunday. I still feel like an ass because someone was supposed to ADA with me and I had to just tell them to go. ALWAYS breaks your money into a second wallet. i slipped on my on shit and I'm just glad the person wasn't a complete dick (or whoever found a wallet)
the certain someone can confirm it was truly NBD and all that mattered in that moment was the shittiness of you losing your wallet <3
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I’m staying in Bluffton, SC, tonight on the way to Hilton Head. Maggie Rose is playing two sold out shows at a coffee shop here this weekend. Sadly, it sounds like she’ll be playing for more people here than she did at Bonnaroo.
I'm not a fan of pedicabs because of them in NOLA. But I thought about taking one a few times.
Also I didn't get asked for drugs, but I got hit on by 6 different girls. 🤷♀️
Took the pedicabs at least twice at roo because I'm lazy and out of shape so they rocked. Mostly going in with the sun.
The service was better than the jamtrak anyway. Just hire a tone of them and pay them to offer free rides all around Live Nation
I took one in 2019 because I was camped in BFE and my feet were wrecked and took a video of the entire ride because they charged me like $40 and I was like, oh baby I'm gonna remember this for the rest of my life... I still watch it from time to time lmao. The pedicabs were very nice for sure, I didn't use them or attempt Jamtrak this year. The idea behind Jamtrak is cool, I especially thought the stations were a cute touch, but they definitely need to ramp it up if it's to be functional during a regular Bonnaroo-sized crowd.

The Jamtrack needs SERIOUS work. They need to have different color stations running for different camping areas. Instead of 15 running the same route, you have 5 lines, different color running the same basic route, but with specific camping area stops (like at Disney for parking). For example: WITW could be green with it's own line, Groop purple with it's own line. Poor Soberoo had a stop but nobody is going there, so nobody gets off, so that stop is worthless.
We tried on Thursday and literally got stuck in the car line that was entering and had to tuck, duck and roll at "Sprinkle" down. Which should be a fucking spot! Why would you not put a stop there or anywhere near Tent Only which was so fucking far in BFE. OMG. Those poor souls.

I appreciate that now I feel like we are a family. The people who know who they are and jumped into our group and still able to be themselves was what will keep me going to Roo. I'm very unhappy with logistical issues on site - I'm very burnt up about the closed 2nd entry - the lack of balloons and the big art pieces where they hired artists to tag the wall. But the family I've gained through Bonnaroo 2022 and what we went through with everything is.... everything.
edit: Lack of Water Stations and sanatory areas, weird porta placements. Ice by non-volunteers which always expanded the amount and places to get ice. The boiling hot showers. Pedicabs are cool, but no sound coming at you until they are right behind you makes walking down the main street harder. Jamtrak should be the opposite direction if it's going to exist. It's absolute horseshit now. You did a great job with the fans, but when it's that cold, maybe just turn them the fuck down. but at least I get that might not be easy etc. or logistic when trying to also use the fans as a way to air out the tent (anti-covid measure)

I did a round trip on Wednesday evening just to time out how long it would take and see the various stops. It was pretty uneventful. But good to know the info
We went to Denzel last night who once again ruled. I temporarily left Goose (#4 Roo set) knowing I was seeing him Friday, so you know I’m a fan. Show was great. My daughter met him after and talked for a while. She told him that she was out for the count at Bonnaroo and got revived when he busted out some old shit. He was loving that. He told her he was pissed off with the 2am (1:45) time-slot thinking no one would be there. Then he got up on stage and saw all the faces and was like okay and was happy. Her boss asked him where he was from and he told him Miami. She said “Carol City” and ended up getting 3 hugs and her T-shirt signed.
/let it float let it float let it float let it float by me

What he doesn't know is he was the #1 Hip Hop Act on the lineup. sorry J.Cole

Yeah I’m with you. I didn’t see all of the hip hop shows, but none of the rap I saw was bad. Isaiah’s show had the sound problems with quality fluctuation and mic volume shit. That wasn’t his fault. Slowthai was real good. Bas was great and praised the white dude he brought on stage for self censoring lyrics. That’s the second time I had seen him in 3 months, and him live is greater than random songs you’d find on YouTube or soundcloud. J Cole sounded good before I bailed. I talked to some of his fans who said they loved tf out of his set. Idk. No one much talked about it here, and I only saw like 4 songs before the mandatory relocation to King Gizzard. Tierra was good when she was rapping. I maybe missed something more obscure but otherwise I didn’t see Kenny and Tobe. And maybe Tobe would have rivaled Denzel’s set. But like I said the other day, I didn’t see it because I was at Billy Strings which turned out perfect for me. So that left Denzel as a Top 10 [tm] Bonnaroo set and my favorite rap show I saw there.

Don't think I've mentioned it here yet but for anyone still looking to save some stream videos from Youtube I've found the program Stacher to be pretty easy and useful to download. Get 'em while they last (and while the program is still available).
Just used it to save the 38 minute Goose video with Trey from last night.

Oh, also, this we posted as a reply on Reddit about the plaza balloons that were missing. I guess this makes some sense as to why they would maybe not be used this year. I do hope they bring them back, though. I've gone for about 10 or 11 Bonnaroos now but still always found them helpful.
The super nice people at the Jesus Tent explained to us that apparently there is a helium shortage going on right now. They said it would’ve cost them thousands of dollars just to fill one balloon. So that’s why there were no plaza balloons this year. Hopefully it’s sorted out and they’re back by next year though because they’re so helpful.

alternately, I use yt5s, it's super simple. Just add 5s between YouTube and .com in any video link and it'll let you download in a handful of different formats.
