There’s no way this thing gets cancelled right? Saw on another forum that a poster mentioned they still haven’t even sold 40k tickets (also mentioned Lolla was underselling as well).
Exit 111 only attracted like 25K on their max day. They still put it on.
Anyone who says this lineup is good had already made up their mind before they even saw it.
Nah. Never seen Tool, Stevie, Herbie , Disclosure , or Billy Strings. Plus add Gizz, War on Drugs , Goose , Plant , Tash, Clozee, and a few decent smaller names people it’s a solid lineup for sure. Well worth the 350 bucks. Decent seats at a Tool or Stevie concert covers almost the whole ticket.
Out of the top 9 of Tool , Stevie , Cole , Flume , Illenium , Chicks , MGK , Roddy , and 21. Who is really moving the needle for college kids. Mgk and that it. But also I don’t know any 18-21 year olds
I’d take the Okee lineup over this one in a heartbeat. Not surprised this year is selling like shit I’d sell my ticket if it weren’t for the people I was going with.
You add a Meg, Doja or Miley to this lineup in sub for one of the sub headliners I bet it’s selling a lot better , totally not selling out but not to the point where low ticket numbers is a topic.

My group is all 21-25, we only really care about Tool, Stevie, Flume and maybe 21 and Cole out of that bunch.

I get personal preference but Porter is 6th on his day at Roo and headlined at Okee. Roo has more quality acts imo

Dang y’all hype for Tool. This makes me smile. I assumed thats going to be the smallest attended headlining set I’ve been to

I was very impressed with Okee. They have the infrastructure and venue space to be a major, major festival that could compete with Bonnaroo and Coachella if they wanted to.
The problem was that it was borderline amateur hour with a lot of things that should be essentials at festivals. They ran out of water at the refill stations at night, the food vendors had a lot of major issues, and the showers and bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Stuff like that should theoretically be easy to fix though if they had some of the right management take charge.
If they can pull some big names on their upcoming lineups and fix those solvable problems, I think they will no longer be the best kept secret and really start being a force to be reckoned with.
I got mine for $500 but I have 4 of them lol and Lyte sucks and they don’t let you sell separately so unless you are located in Denver i can’t sell it to you: you’re better off just buying off the site. $500 is a good price

i like fleetwood mac fine but i'm not a big enough fan to want to see anything other than the actual band w/ buckingham ... and that's never going to happen

1000000%....Sunday is laughably bad. Steve solo isn't that great and MGK/Roddy almost seems like a joke.
I’m usually so out of it by Sunday that I prefer a more lax day where I can just sit in the back and discover new music. Sunday is also the day where I try to eat the most in centeroo lol

j cole - ok rap headliner. certainly a superstar but i feel rap fans and the younger demographic would prefer rappers like kendrick, kanye, tyler, and a$ap rocky. 2016 show was pretty good.
tool - good headliner imo and my favorite. big drawback is they've been touring fear inoculum since 2019 so it's not the most unique headliner. great live band.
stevie nicks - a good legacy booking that even younger people are pretty familiar with. turn on a classic rock station and there's fleetwood mac every hour if not multiple times. i personally would rather just see fleetwood mac but a lot of people love her and she's announced recently that she's not going to tour much this year

Robert Fucking Plant is gonna be there. I know it's not Zeppelin but I feel like it never gets mentioned. We're the only US fest to get their tour iirc.

i mean, if current ticket sales are to be believed, people preferred the 2019, 2020, and 2021 lineups ~56% more than the 2022 lineup.
we always go round and round about ticket sales being caused by this that or the other, but it's really always the lineup, and by the lineup i mean the headliners.

to be clear there is plenty in the undercard i would enjoy seeing. and i'm always happy to see Tool again, though the show i saw a couple months back was so flawless i'm not sure seeing them at roo could improve on the experience.
roo is a seven hour drive for me. this roo lineup was more like a 2-3 hour drive kind of lineup. that and of course the expense put me off of 2022. opportunity cost, there are just other live music experiences i'd rather have in 2022.
really hope they knock it out of the park in 2023, i'm always delighted to go to bonnaroo.

They did a FANTASTIC job booking and scheduling this Okee lineup imo, just perfect for my tastes. Favorites were Tame, Griz, Four Tet (just godly), Lab Group and Caribou. I will 100% be buying pre sales to okee 2023, Roo idk about yet.
But yeah I’m not sure what changed between 2020 and this okee but they did not have it together logistically as well this year. 2020 didn’t feel as overcrowded as this one did. Bathrooms stayed clean and well kept all weekend. Water was fine and didn’t taste odd like it did this year. General stores easy to find, showers stayed warm. Things weren’t as expensive. I get post pandemic is different but they could’ve done better on some areas. Overall I loved it though! I just hope it stays the same size honestly and a lot of these issues I believe will easily be fixed next year.
Also not having to empty out your camelback before entry was nice I could fill my pack up with bottled water which was much better than what they had on site.

roo probably should've stuck with travis scott.
i wonder how much comparing 2022 to what "could have been" in 2021 and 2020 makes it look worse. 2 years of ben and jerry's melted and now you get the option of a McDonald's cone...
it baffles me that they saw the way the 2020 & 2021 lineups sold, then booked this abysmal lineup for 2022. it's also embarrassing that they either cant, or just wont book serviceable house music.

No Jamie xx, No Four Tet, no Ross from Friends, no Kaytranada, okee booked a damn 7hr Sven Vath set. Channel tres, Disclosure and Lane 8 are great though.
