Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The old crusty Roo crowd gave Bonnaroo a tonnnnnnnnn of shit for booking The Weeknd to close out the fest. Like 5 years later and we'd all be begging for them to book him, with the shit sandwich they gave us this year.
sunday 2016 was one of my favorite bonnaroo days. it was hot as all hell but at the which stage it was kurt vile and the violators -> father john misty -> ween then we skipped dead and co for an early start home
if you pay more than $250 for a resale ticket this year you done quacked up.
Truth!
My now wife loved the ‘16 lineup, but it was slim pickin’s fer me. Pretty sure Angelique Kidjo was the only show I was really excited to see. I did not have a very good time that year as I was just bored fer hours at a time. Definitely spent a lot more time at Camp Inforoo (RIP) that year!
So there’s a little bit more I want to see this year, but not by much. I guess similar crowd size may make it more enjoyable, but I dunno.

I would suggest trying to take advantage of the happenings at the Plazas
"it's okay that they're not selling tickets, more room for me to dance!" is on par with "im okay with a less stacked lineup because it means less conflicts"
I have definitely said the latter unironically before. Problem is it only works if you like artists that are equally spread from the top to the bottom of the lineup. There were a couple of particularly magical voodoo lineups several years ago where this worked out perfectly for me.

That Bonnaroo reddit is unbearable. Everyone saying "yay, more room for dancing"...ummm, even in 2013 I don't think I ever thought to myself man it'd be cool for more dancing room. So many people on there are just "yea, but the vibes"...do they know you can find "vibes" without sleeping in a tent in June in TN?

Just because you are feeling pessimistic about the festival doesn't mean every other attendee has to be, hope that helps!
I'm just used to having the schedule out before Shaky Knees. Was hoping to have it this week so I know what to do about Japanese Breakfast vs King Gizz conflict this Saturday.
Also 2016 when they sold 45k tickets it was kind of depressing at times. I definitely prefer more people. I like the energy
If you're looking at the longevity of the festival and wanting better lineups, then yeah you should want the fest to be selling better. But when it comes to the experience of it, I can't imagine being with 40,000 other people and wishing there were more.
If resale for this goes below 200 I might have to think about it honestly. Herbie Hancock is bucket list
He's on the lineup for format festival in Arkansas in September. Which has a very cool lineup. I have a wedding that weekend otherwise I'd probably go.

Yet the 2 band that I most want to see more than anyone else are going to conflict.

Don't they generally send out an attendance estimate to vendors around this time so that they can prepare appropriately? Feels like a matter of time before that's out there.

Kidjo was 2017
Wow, lookin’ back both ‘16 and ‘17 were pretty rough fer my taste! I think I just merged both of those years together as I didn’t enjoy them as much as other years!
Anyone who says this lineup is good had already made up their mind before they even saw it.
1000000%....Sunday is laughably bad. Steve solo isn't that great and MGK/Roddy almost seems like a joke.
I disagree. It's not a day I would have curated and don't care about MGK/Roddy. But I got Herbie Hancock, Lettuce, Tash Sultana, Puscifer, G. Jones, All Them Witches, Tierra, Bas and Of the Trees. Unless they all mysteriously conflicted, it's a pretty good day and only gets better in the likely event that Stevie ends up being better than shitty.

The couple times that leaked I think it was mid-May?
