At our Mini Roo last year, we had a mixed drink for everybody. We weren't fancy enough for it to be a Sex on the Beach, so we called it a Handjob in the Creek.

I'm about to get a ticket soon. How reliable is Stubhub? Looks like right now they're at around $250 as opposed to $350 through the official site. I've usually only ever gone the official route in the past.

Also disappointed about losing Luda. His set at Bonnaroo a few years ago was pretty fun even though I was pretty far back. It was crowded. Was looking forward to seeing him again but hopefully they add someone good to replace.

Guys I think they've just been holding on to the Luda announcement. They wanted to get the backlash over with the day before the schedule drops and Three-6-Mafia is sitting in that spot. 1pm est schedule? Lets do this.
As previously noted, Jazz Fest replaced him with Busta Rhymes. Completely fair trade in my opinion. I’m debating walking down to see him tomorrow after work but where that stage is I’d have to buy a ticket. Meantime I’m at Billy Strings’ first JF performance at the fest. For anyone like me who appreciates bluegrass, it’s jam.

I would dare to say that it's a WAY more interesting choice if they go with Busta
They asked me to get them my final event title and description by first thing Monday, so I assume that means they're trying to get it released next week.
I had a good talk with some of their team on the phone yesterday, it sounds like they're trying to get a tighter ship going in the last few days.

I haven’t used StubHub fer a festival, just regular concerts. But they have some built-in protections for ticket-buyers so you should be safe. This goes out to anyone lookin’ to scoop tickets at a much more fair price.
I’ve gotten one festival ticket off of StubHub and someone just sent the packaging and not the wristband and StubHub replaced it. So totally trust StubHub. I guess I’d get it early enough to allow time for a replacement in the off chance you get somebody trying to pull a fast one.

Does anyone have insight on how the do scheduling? I would guess they start with headliners and go from there because those are the easiest to put in a time slot.
Brad and Barry had a really good talk with some of the guys that do that a few years ago on their show.
It is super tricky because you have to deal with time constraints of individual touring groups. Sometimes they can hang around for another day or so, but a lot of times they have to pack up pretty much right after their set to be on the road to the next date.

the two guys who book bonnaroo tell the one guy who puts together the schedule to head to inforoo to see what the scheduling preferences of troo roo fans are. but the one guy who puts together the schedule is 24 years old and doesn't understand proboards he only understands tik tok so he just kind of does whatever and then changes the schedule a dozen times after it's published.

I’m think Goose gets a three hour set again like they were supposed to in 2021. There was one less tent act that night compared to Saturday until Ludacris dropped.

I’m really digging the new Regrettes album. They’ve quickly become a must-see for me on Friday, which means they will surely conflict with Japanese Breakfast when the schedule is released on June 14.

Yeah, they've been must see for a few Bonnaroo attempts now. Enjoyed them on the Couchella streams, too. Hope they vary the set up a bit, though.

Agreed. I was confused by all the complaints about the 2020 Thursday lineup. I was really looking forward to The Regrettes, Devon Gilfillian, Andy Frasco, Sweet Crude, and the Opry.

The live show is really fun (just saw at Shaky Knees). The sound is true to the records as well.
Worth pointing out how trimmed down late night options (stages done by 2am, fewer acts) directly coincided with lower selling bonnaroos
Dunno if it was a cost cutting measure or what, but I personally wouldn’t expect super late band sets this year
I could be wrong be in the past 6 years I’ve been I haven’t noticed to mucb difference in late night. Maybe there’s 1 less tent going but for the most part acts all end around 2:30-3am. Sure Kalliope is gone but the other will take it’s place and the campground activities have picked up.
