Bonnaroo 2022 Lineup Discussion Thread

Lame Thursday ends at 330am. Hopefully there’s some secret roo magic and somebody plays till 6am lol

Wednesday: RooBus Flipturn > Sawyer > Dirty Circus > Sparkle City Disco > Vnssa > Blast Off Dance Party

Fucking great that this shit is happening Wednesday. However all of these sets conflict with the act "just going to fuck around with friends" because thats always been a great wednesday artist. But really cool that these background options exist.

Thursday: DJ Mel > Sawyer > Nothing > Mochakk > Ameme > Weval > Kasablanca / Indigo De Souza > Garcia Peoples > Sons of Kemet > Gryffin > Silent Disco > Sohmi / vnssa

Could end up being my best Thursday ever even compared to 13-15.

Friday: DJ Mel > Tove Lo > Regrettes > Japanese Breakfast > War on Drugs > Karina Rykman > Sparkle City Disco > Disclosure > a little Goose > Denzel Curry > Lane 8

Why is the knowledge of Lane 8 going that late making me think this day will be way more memorable than this string of artists on paper? There's no question that if you told me this would be the Friday run back in November I would have thrown up, but it just manages to look like something that could land as an extremely fun, memorable night from Disclosure onwards. From Jap Brekkie to Rykman will be a solid string of beer shows. Idk it looks worthwhile now that Ive come to terms with how bad the lineup is.

Saturday: Cory Henry > Benee > Femi Kuti for a lil > Slowthai > Superjam > Chvches > Billy Strings > Suicide Boys > Tool but if not liking will head to Porter > 100 Gecs > Flume > Marc Rebillet > Channel Tres DJ > Chris Lake / Mindchatter

This is a great day and night. annoying ass conflicts later on but this is going to be a really fun day. Total bonnaroo randomness. Its a real Bonnaroo day.

Sunday: Flipturn > Sierra Ferrell > All Them Witches > Lettuce > Tinashe > Tierra Whack > Zach Bryan > Herbie Hancock > Stevie Nicks > Party at camp

Sunday avoids being the worst day in roo history with perfect scheduling. Still bad but I see 5 potentially good to great sets in there which is all you can ever really ask for on sunday.

I originally wanted our thing later in the evening before the conflicts cropped up, but I'm happy with it now because it means I can go roam around and go see those cool shows at Where in the Woods on Wednesday.

Yeah that's the idea. I'm not counting on anything just yet because there's already been some miscommunications and balls dropped in scheduling all this, but that's the plan for now as I understand it. We'll be right next door to that plaza tent.

I don’t think corners were cut in 2019 except for entry but I’m not sure we even know what happened with that

Everything was improved and we got a lot more 1hr 15m set times. We even had two Friday headliners.

I wish we had more info on the superjam. really want to go check out the LP Giobbi Dead House set and they conflict.

Jack has a ton of connections in the music world, so it could very good. Or it could be Bleachers covering 80s tracks with some guest vocalists already on the farm.

Goose vs LP Giobbi vs Denzel Curry sucks but was expected. "At least I can catch her Dead set" I thought before seeing that she conflicts with the Superjam. Boo. Saturday is prob my weakest day of Bonnaroo. Thursday is pretty nice though.
