First year going. First year paying attention to set time threads. How good are you guys at this usually? Also do the pictures on page 1 get updated or do you have to follow the thread?
Keep an eye out here for artists confirming their stages and times, ignore pretty much everything else

I’ll bet you a frozen Lemonade L’Imperatrice doesn’t play one minute of their set past 10:00 p.m. If you give me 2:1 odds I’ll say not one minute past 8:00 p.m.

Because you were being a dick to me for just innocently posting in this thread for no apparent reason, so it would be funny to me if you were wrong about it in the end. Again, go back and consider the history of the four acts I’m talking about and then maybe you’ll get where I’m coming from.
Emo Nite makes a lot of sense as a tent closer against Billie to me.
We had them there, but I recieved comments from multiple people saying they thought it would entirely cannibalize Emo Nite's crowd if they were up directly against Billie Eilish. Thoughts?

I could see Emo Nite against Billie. I don't think it's a slam dunk though - they're sort of weird in that as long as they're in the Gobi/Mojave/Sonora, they could really play at any time and against anyone.
Also, should we upgrade Fred again to the Mojave? I'm thinking yes.
EDIT: Apparently I already made that change. It's been a long week.
I don’t think we HAVE to. But if it makes sense sure. All depends what time we have him. If he’s playing during Doja like we gave him (I doubt he will) then the Gobi is fine

Don’t know about 7pm but she’s either going to be later than you have her or upgraded from Sonora.
If you’re looking for ideas to tinker with I’d also say move Caroline Polachek out of the Gobi. She’s a critical darling, Tik Tok famous, opening for Dua on tour. She’d maybe work where you have her but I’d bump her to at least the Mojave (and maybe put Freddie Gibbs where you have Caroline).

Also, Carly Rae Jepsen is going to be an interesting one. She could feasibly be scheduled anywhere other than the Sahara I think; where she goes will have a lot to do with how Paul/GV sees her. She could rock that daytime Main slot we have her on, and I'm not pushing to move her; more just think she could play a lot of different slots. Late afternoon/early evening Outdoor is where I imagined her when I saw the poster. FWIW we have mocked pop artists in that slot on the Main multiple times before I'm pretty sure (Lizzo I definitely remember having there, although the circumstances were different) and the festival hasn't scheduled those artists there. But there's a first time for everything, and again, I think she'd do well there. Mostly just thinking about possible alternatives.

Yeah there’s a ton of possibilities. I could see her at night in the Mojave too.
