honestly I don’t even really care for the schedule I know it’s gonna be brutal and I’ll see the must sees but it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be
same, i’m just gonna prioritize the hardest to see and most expensive acts on my list. luckily a lot of my anticipated acts here are doing shows in MA so I’ve eliminated those conflicts before they occur
Sadly I think its Weds with how late things have been. If we are extremely lucky its Monday night. They used to not post em til thurs when it was a 2 day fest. 2016 was due to Ellie Goulding being dramatic so who knows what artist is getting all diva this year with how it looks on the schedule. It matters just as much as the font size for agents.
Interesting. For Saturday implications. I can see Stromae getting on the mainstage. Either BROCKHAMPTON or 21 Savage closing the Outdoor. I'd move 88 Rising out of the Sahara and put them sunset on the Outdoor. If it is a music set, their overall vibe wouldn't be for the Sahara at all. A lot of their artists are more on the vibey side. They do have some hype artists like Guapdad and Keith Ape but if it's a showcase of most of their roster, Sahara doesn't seem like the move imo.

Maybe write it on paper lol It will probably be best for my productivity if they release it Wednesday. Because then there is no time for me to grieve. But I really want to stop listening to artists that I won’t be able to see too.
Let’s do Thursday as I’m on the way to the airport so I have something to do on the plane.

This'll be my first Coachella and if I'm learning anything it's that conflicts will completely wreck me. Does the schedule stay fairly consistent from one week to the next? That way next weekend I can catch the stuff from home that I'll miss W2.

Yeah I watch stuff on the stream that I don’t plan to attend.

Almost identical. Honestly, the conflicts are only bad in the sense that there’s too much to see and not enough hours in the day. They do a pretty good job of avoiding totally stupid Bonnaroo or Glastonbury style conflicts where tons of similar stuff by similarly popular artists go head to head

Damn me and my varied music tastes. My main concern is stuff that I conceivably might not get the chance to see again. PDM/Mika, Fred Again/Fatboy Slim, etc. It's a great problem to have though!

Ya obviously there will be some rough ones. Other thing to keep in mind is the grounds are a manageable size. Bigger than they used to be but splitting sets is usually an option

If you're torn between two sets that are at the same time, have both streams up next week and compare them. Use it to choose which one seems like the better set to go to

Agreed, definitely manageable.
@ splittling sets, one thing I learned the hard way. If you're at a set that's absolutely fantastic, it's rarely worth it to leave early to split with another set. Because you might leave for a lesser performance lol. So now I'll only do it if the current set I'm at is either underwhelming or decent/solid but not amazing. If it's amazing , I'll just accept missing out whatever other set I had in mind. Just stay in the moment.

I was a strict W2 guy for years - W1 livestream I would watch shows I wasn't planning on catching W2. It was fun to see the "opposite side" of coachella than the genres I like more, and occasionally I would see something so wild that I would throw out my Plan A and go see (J. Balvin in 2019 was a perfect example). But I would never watch the shows I was planning on seeing W2.
but yes - the conflicts will absolutely wreck you.

There might be some tweaks but its pretty much the same. Like 10 mins max on changes time wise. Barring a cancellation and such of course. Conflicts used to be even worse pre 2 weekends.
