A handful of nit picky comments:
1. Why is Elfman getting 75 minutes when Hans got 65? 2. Why is Caribou getting 70 minutes? That feels super rare and they're not billed to get some sort of prestige set length 3. I think we should try to get Kim Petras at night; she's billed above Maxo Kream and I tend to think she'd be perfect counter-programming for Ye. 4. Just a counterpoint of sorts to consider re: Sonora -- anyone else remember when everyone here was convinced in 2018 that Cuco would be Outdoor because even the Mojave would be too small for him, and then he was in the Sonora? I get that some of these Sonora artists right now have tons of plays but I don't think that should inherently disqualify them from that tent. Hopefully we get a Sonora poster again to clear that up, though.
Hah I forgot about that Cuco conversation - love it when we have these angry debates and everybody is wrong further proving that none of us know what we're fucking talking about. See also: will Axwell & Ingrosso close the main or play Sahara? [Outdoor]. Will CHVRCHES get demoted to the outdoor at night or play the main stage again? [Mojave]. Will Hans Zimmer have too many musicians to play the Mojave and have to play the main stage? [Outdoor].
If we think that we'll get the Sonora poster soon (in the past it's come in January, no?) we can always leave them in for now. I was just surprised by how popular those two acts apparently are now. [For the record, Cuco's highest streamed song is at 199M plays - still below Surf Curse and beabadoobee's - although beabadoobee's billy is from a feature].
friday: Ela Minus (she shouldnt be sonora though) > Arooj Aftab > Logic1000 > Jayda G > The Marias > Epik High/Grupo > Idles > CRJ > Omar Apollo > Harry Styles > Baby Keem > Peggy Gou
Sat: Mannequin Pussy > Caroline Polacheck (rly hope this isn't where she plays) > Rina Sawayama > Turnstile > Black midi > Freddie Gibbs > Hot Chip > Floating Points > Brockhampton > DJ Koze > Caribou > Disclosure > Dixon ending of this day is nuts
sun: griselda > viagra boys > Kim Petras > Crumb > Vince Staples > Fred Again > Doja > Ye

1. My dumb memory thought Hans had 75, but I guess it was 65. Will change that.
2. This is something I was playing with that I should have changed awhile ago.
3. We can move Kim Petras to a night tent slot and see how that looks.
4. True. I definitely think Girl in Red gets moved out, but I think someone like Beach Bunny would probably still be okay in there.

Figured Caribou was touring the US pretty extensively because he's doing Houston in a few weeks and we mostly don't get shit but I guess he isn't. Didn't realize what a conflict it could be for most people.

They also toured the US in the fall. I think between the fall tour and the one this year they are hitting pretty much all the major markets

Wasn’t the whole headliner crisis resulting in Harry Styles because of SHM closing the stage after the headliner and they missed out on Tyler, Kendrick, etc because of that

I would have canceled SHM, eaten the fee, and taken Kendrick

Kendrick’s making a movie isn’t he? He wasn’t available.

I believe Kendrick was due to recording that new movie but Tyler I feel just wanted to vlose his day. He also had a pretty miserable experience last time he player due to Bey campers. He does have a pretty intricate stage production so I wonder if he declined because they were unable to accommodate that with SHM closing main
