You may or may not already know this, but I am the DJ for an MMA promotion, and play the music for each fighter's walkout. They select their own songs. Without knowing any more context about the fighters, can you successfully predict the winner of each bout, based solely on the fighter's choice of walkout music?
I will be tracking 2 things going forward: The W-L record of each artist played, and the predictions success rate from everyone who participates. Even if nobody actually wants to make predictions, I just want somewhere to record the data.

My predictions:
James Brown, A Day To Remember, Action Bronson, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Baby Keem, Johnny Cash, The Offspring, Jim Croce, The Heavy, Eminem, I Prevail, Wardruna, Big K.R.I.T., Puff Daddy
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

B2FS 144: Fort Wayne, Indiana, 1/22/22 7PM EST
1. NF (1-0) - "Only" v James Brown (0-1) - "Get Up Offa That Thing" Absolute banger of an opener, 2 guys in their debut fights just beat the hell outta each other, one of the bloodiest fights I've seen yet. In the end, NF won by unanimous decision.
2. A Day To Remember (1-0) - "The Downfall Of Us All" v Lauryn Hill (0-1) ft D'Angelo (0-1) - "Nothing Even Matters" Real quick fight here, ADTR won by triangle choke submisson 2 minutes into the first round.
3. Pop Evil (0-1) - "Let the Chaos Reign" v Action Bronson (1-0) - "Actin Crazy" Pretty boring first round, but Action Bronson landed a quick knockout jab just moments into the second round.
4. Lil Jon (0-1), Offset (0-1), & 2Chainz (0-1) - "Alive" v Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (1-0) - "Can't Hold Us" The trio never stood a chance, as Macklemore dominated from the opening bell and scored a TKO by strikes within 2 minutes.
5. A$AP Rocky (1-0) - "Holy Ghost" v Baby Keem (0-1) - "Trademark USA" Slobberknocker of a heavyweight match, two big ole boys smacked each other around but refused to go down. A$AP wins in a unanimous decision.
6. Rob Zombie (0-1) - "Dragula" v Johnny Cash (1-0) - "God's Gonna Cut You Down" Ugly matchup, Rob Zombie was obviously overmatched, and Johnny won by TKO right after the start of the second round.
7. Da-iCE (1-0) - "DREAMIN' ON" v The Offspring (0-1) - "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" Boring fight, not much to report, Da-iCE wins by unanimous decision.
8. Kip Moore (1-0) - "Southpaw" v Jim Croce (0-1) - "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" Kip Moore shows off his strength in the ground game, as he wins by triangle choke submission in the first round, despite being slammed to the mat twice!
9. The Heavy (1-0) - "How You Like Me Now" v Schoolboy Q (0-1) - "Black Folk" Fight of the night! These two men decided early that grappling was not an option, and just beat the dogshit outta each other for the whole thing. Schoolboy Q at some point decided that blocking was unnecessary, and took dozens of headshots without ever going down. He refused to die, but The Heavy won by unanimous decision in the end.
10. Eminem (1-0) - "8 Mile" v James Brown - "It's A Man's, Man's, Man's World" Mobb Deep (0-1) - "Shook Ones Pt. 2" Mobb Deep was a last minute replacement for James Brown, but I don't think he was ready. Eminem wins by split decision. (Anyone who picked James Brown here will not have this match count against their record, Eminem picks still get the win.)
11. I Prevail (0-1) - "DOA" v NF (2-0) - "Remember This" I remember literally nothing about this fight, but NF kept his winning streak going by unanimous decision.
12. Wardruna (1-0) - "Runaljod" v Belly (0-1), The Weeknd (0-1), & Young Thug (0-1) - "Better Believe" The trio arrived to an absolutely rapturous reception from their hometown crowd, but were knocked out by the Norwegian band in just 8 SECONDS with one of the most brutal head kicks I've ever seen. The crowd thinned by half after that result.
13. Diddy (1-0) ft Skylar Grey (1-0) - "Coming Home" v Big K.R.I.T. (0-1) - "I Got This" Yawn. Worst song of the night wins the most boring fight by unanimous decision.
14. Puff Daddy (1-1) - "Victory (Instrumental)" v D12 (1-0) - "Fight Music" A technical masterclass in the main event, even if it wasn't exactly thrilling. D12 wins by unanimous decision.
2. Lauryn Hill ft D'Angelo - "Nothing Even Matters"
3. Action Bronson - "Actin Crazy"
4. Lil Jon, Offset, & 2Chainz - "Alive"
5. A$AP Rocky - "Holy Ghost"
6. Johnny Cash - "God's Gonna Cut You Down"
7. Da-iCE - "DREAMIN' ON"
8. Jim Croce - "You Don't Mess Around With Jim"
9. Schoolboy Q - "Black Folk"
10. Eminem - "8 Mile"
11. NF - "Remember This"
12. Wardruna - "Runaljod"
13. Diddy ft Skylar Grey - "Coming Home"
14. Puff Daddy - "Victory (Instrumental)"
The Victory remix to the Rocky song hits pretty hard, always liked it as a come-out song for a fight. I don't know why someone would choose the instrumental tho, unless they just wanted to not hear Puffy rap, which is understandable. Biggie and Busta on there too tho.
Do you want to leave this open for others to vote even though it is done, or do you want me to lock the thread?
oh it's less of a voting thing and more just predictions. Most weeks I'll be able to get the list up Friday afternoon, but this being the first show back after break was pretty chaotic. But yeah please don't lock the thread, I'll be posting new lists weekly.

Only 2 matchups I would have known for certain is Big Krit I got this and D12. I Got This just makes you feel all powerful and D12 song really puts you in the mood to set polite society to the side and go full send. Surprised Shook Ones didn’t win but formidable opponent.

Fucking Fort Wayne! Hell yeah.
I went there this summer for a Death Doula session and got drunk and rode those awesome light-up scooters all over the city wearing a mask I bought at that kick-ass Stoner's costume shop and my silver cape. And then went swimming in that big reflection pool in Freimann Square that I am sure is full of bum piss. I knew Fort Wayne would love me back.

I didn't do anything like that, but I did find a bar called The Brass Rail that quite ruled
It's actually the entrance music for my older kid's high school football team.
who is that Jimmy Buffet ass motherfucker on stage?
that's Joey Ryan, he's a creep. Played this character of a sexual deviant who uses his genitals for no good, until it turned out the man behind the character...is a sexual deviant who uses his genitals for no good

1) Art imitates life?
2) I do like his matching sock/man panty game.
3) Also, "During the Speaking Out movement in June 2020..." Didn't know about this so now I am down a Wikipedia rabbit hole.
