It kind of sounds like that indoor stage at Day For Night. Sloppy terrible sound and I felt like I was about to get stabbed and shoved into a pile of sewage at any moment.
Ha, there certainly was the feeling of lurking danger in some of the darker corners.

Yea the Masonic Ballroom is a hot sweaty dungeon basically. Last time I was there I just stood next to the popsicle vendor they had down there, getting a blast of cold air every time he opened the freezer lid.

However, it's still nothing compared to the indoor room at TV Lounge. Holy hell is that bad. I couldn't even take any photos in there because the second I wiped my lens, it instantly fogged up due to all the humidity and moisture in the room.

it's good to know these kinds of things about venues. i'm not as young as i used to be, and it's nice to have a small measure of comfort at a venue. or just attend shows that are less crowded.

I personally can't stand it when its sweltering hot/humid at a show, or so crowded that you can't move. Those two things will have me leaving, no matter who is playing.
Probably not going to be able to go this year, which is a shame because one of my friends who is going will be moving out west and will be less likely to go ever again. At least I'll be seeing Zedd, Marshmello, RL Grime and Action Bronson at the Indy 500

Some tough conflicts.
Saturday: Ben Klock and Pan-Pot conflicting with The Belleville Three
Sunday: Joseph Capriati/Adam Beyer/Testpilot conflicting with Shiba San and Dixon
Luckily some conflicts can be mitigated by after parties. I might have to try that Belleville Three/Richie Hawtin after party Saturday, and Sunday either the Drumcode or Dixon/Troxler afterparty.
Monday I'll close with Chris Liebing over Carl Cox.

Many of my friends have told me Chris Liebing always dumbs down his sets for American crowds, idk if that will change your mind at all but just something of note.
