3post1jack1 do you remember how cheap tickets were closer to the festival?
i honestly cannot remember. i scrolled through the movement reddit trying to find a post with someone selling tickets last year but could not. it doesn't sell out so i feel like you could likely grab a wristband below face closer to the festival but i can't provide any assurance on that assertion, just a guess.
be careful buying second hand, there was some bullshit last year on the movement facebook where a guy promised to get people tickets at a discount but never came through.

generally be very careful buying off of facebook or craigslist

for sure. but this guy was a moderator of the movement facebook page, super positive presence, always posting, always helpful, and then he just screwed over a bunch of people. he's paid some people back but not everyone. only then did all this sketchy shit about him come out, with regards to taking loans to throw parties that never got paid back, stuff like that. it'd be like if you sent itrainmonkeys money for a bonnaroo ticket and he ghosted you.

stoked for Amelie Lens, DJ Nobu, Floorplan, Orbital, Heiko Laux, Stephan Bodzin. great start! seems like a good response to people complaining about lack of techno last year.
i had a suspicion we'd get more mainstage techno sounds when they used that drumcode track in the 2019 trailer.
Saw a dude post about this on Coachella forums and had no idea these were all confirmed. That's likely a Disclosure DJ set, but certainly a headliner.
right on, and i'd say a live orbital set is a headliner as well. so that's two of our headliners right there. throw in adam beyer and our top line is complete.
I liked the singles Disclosure put out this summer, I'd be interested in seeing them depending on who they play against. They're highlighting the artists they previewed and they're* giving which days they're* all playing on their instagram. So far it's Amelie and Orbital on the 25th, and Danny Brown on the 26th

cool, didn't know about the instagram dates, thanks.
amelie lens feels like a pyramid closer to me? so she might conflict with orbital.
i don't worry as much about conflicts at movement because i tend to run around between stages anyway.

Fuck yes. Amelie Lens has been at the top of my must see list for a long time. So has Stephan Bodzin (AND its a LIVE set!!!!)! And of course, I'll take all the Orbital I can get!
I'll find out whats up with Disclosure, just texted some Paxahau friends.

TV Lounge is pretty great all year round. Hopefully my schedule changes by the time this rolls around this year so I can go and enjoy all 3 days again.
i think they'd love to book aphex twin if they could, but my understanding is he is very expensive to book. so coachella can do it, and day for night did it when they were spending big money to make a name for themselves, but not sure if movement will be willing to pay his price tag.

Saw a good portion of his Osheaga set (squeezed it in between YYYs and camping for James Blake). Very fun, strong recommend
