Saw a good portion of his Osheaga set (squeezed it in between YYYs and camping for James Blake). Very fun, strong recommend
I saw him go b2b with Bonobo a couple of years ago but I'm really interested in seeing him solo. Glad to know it was fun
Yes. When I saw Aphex Twin at Day For Night, the guy who books all the talent for Movement reached out to me to see what I thought of his live show as they were trying to book him for a future festival.

Just wondering, what was your take on that D4N show man? I remember walking away feeling a kind of unimpressed. Perhaps my expectations were too high.
I probably wouldn't see him at Movement if he headlined, but that's more about avoiding the main stage than an indictment on him or that performance.

I came in with low expectations and came out completely blown away.

I thought it was a great set, although it was certainly enhanced by seeing an artist I'd been listening to for two decades and thought there was no chance in hell I'd ever have the opportunity to see live.
If Aphex played Movement I would most likely see him, but if something particularly rad and rare was happening at another stage I might skip Aphex or at least split sets.

Well dang. Glad you guys enjoyed it so much. I don't really know what it was about my experience, but perhaps I would give him another chance if he were at movement.
I think there's a good chance we get the lineup today... If we don't it probably will be next Thursday as postjack mentioned earlier. Pretty excited to dig into it either way.

i don't think it will come today since i'm guessing they will give us a heads up before the actual lineup. last year on january 9, 2018 they announced the lineup was coming january 24. i don't think we'll get that large of a date gap (i hope not!) but we could get an "announcement about the announcement" any time now. maybe something today or tomorrow saying they'll announce next week.

only sharing because the movement rumor economy is so poor, but some joker on facebook is claiming Adam Beyer b2b Cirez D as a headliner, as well as a Testpilot redemption set.
beyer doesn't have any shows booked between 20 apr 2019 (awakenings easter) and 07 june 2019 (junction 2), so he seems possible and likely since he wasn't there last year, but Prydz has a show in europe the monday of movement. so probably bullshit. would be a great headliner though, and appropriate if Movement is trying to move in a more techno heavy direction after the "where's the techno" outcry last year.
and while i like ole' deadmau5 since he rebooted my interest in electronic music all those years ago, i'd rather not see Testpilot in a headliner slot again.

I personally would LOVE to see Joel come back and do a redemption Testpilot set. Better than another boring ass Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, or Richie Hawtin (DJ) set.
Also, doesnt Prydz have a fear of flying and takes a boat to Europe? If he really has a show in Europe on that Monday you can most certainly cancel him out.

i would also take Testpilot over Martinez Brothers or Loco Dice. but not Hawtin.
i thought the same about Prydz but apparently he got over that flying thing a few years back.

Anyone consider Richie doing a Plastikman show?? He changed his instagram profile photo to back to the Plastikman logo, has been teasing new music and projects with “his team” on his story for the past few months. Could be something, i doubt he just does a one off show to debut it and with ultra, sonar ans coachella as the only other fests to get it, id say theres a possibility.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Someone on the Movement FB group posted that Loco Dice added Movement 2019 as an event. I know that's not really an exciting "leak", but it could mean we're getting the lineup today.
I'm still expecting it Thursday tho
EDIT: My girlfriend just got a message from Movement on FB saying they are announcing artists all week starting at 12 ET today so keep an eye out!

not a big fan of the slow roll out approach, but i'll take it. thanks for the heads up.
totally uninterested in Loco Dice but the names already released give me hope.

Yeah agreed on all points. Just happy to start researching some of the more out there artists Movement always give us.
So apparently Disclosure isn't one of the headliners? Fingers still crossed for Gesaffelstein. Also I saw Tzusing pop up on a lineup, love for him to show up here
