We doing the mock draft again this year? I'd love to see us do it 2-3 times. Maybe pre combine, post combine, mid April/after visits and stuff leading up to the draft. I can organize if nobody else wants to.

im down to do like 4 or 5 rounds
Someone can check the old thread but I think we fell off pretty hard in the third round last time.
I do think that Bengals are in a good situation to win their conference pretty easily
Ravens could be good again but they have holes, Steelers could take a big step back even w Ben being pretty bad this year, Browns will Brown and there's a lot of uncertainty at QB there too

Depending on how the offseason goes I might put a couple hundred on the Chargers at +2500. Our D was pretty embarrassing this year, but we have some really solid pieces to build around. Need some run stuffers and to upgrade at corner for sure. Could definitely see them making a Bengals style run though. Hopefully with a happier ending

I think mac jones is totally fine and good but the AFC is just so top heavy I see the pats being stuck in mediocre limbo for the next few seasons. Like barely scraping into the playoffs or like a bubble team year in year out

At least until BB learns how to properly evaluate receivers at least

The last quarterback to lose their first Super Bowl and then later win a Super Bowl was John Elway.
More on this:
Bob Griese (won 2 more) and Fran Tarkenton (did not win) made it back after losing, so making it 45 years just cuts out those, and some of it is contextual, Gannon was super old, his best wrs were 38 yr old Tim Brown and 49 yr old Jerry Rice and basically didn't play the next season before retiring, strong run of guys who were just dogshit to fine, rex grossman, delhomme, hasselbeck, Collins, Bledsoe was usurped from what was a championship level defense and run game, McNabb made like 4 or 5 NFC championships which if you're the Bengals you take that in a heartbeat, Jimmy G was a play or two away from making it back after losing
just looking over the list none of these guys are as young as Burrow is or even in the same ballpark of good, and the team is in really good shape compared to the 05 bears or something

Dan Marino
sure but that's one good example the rest I dont think is enough to just write them off entirely
there's a handful of guys who won and never went back either from the Brees and Steve Young's to the Joe Flacco and Brad Johnsons, and the Rams are (potentially) going to take bigger hits this off-season
