I’m torn with voting for the sleepiest with this one because I find the slower songs to be excruciatingly boring but I think the voice quality would keep me up and not allow me to sleep!
I guess I cant really participate because I only actively listened to 5 out of the 20 bands and know a couple of songs from another 3 maybe. The rest I have no idea. Do most of y'all know music from all of these bands?
the ones i don't know i just assume are those bands with distant sounding recordings absolutely soaking wet with reverb, all singing songs about how sad they are to be with their girlfriend.
I interpret the rules to be that the final survivor is the band that you'd have your best/easiest nap to. It should eliminate the bands you'd have a sad nap to (Beach House, Bonnie Bear) and the abjectly bad bands.
The final survivor should be the most MID band on the list
I've almost fallen asleep driving home from work listening to Beach House twice, once Dpression Cherry and once to 7. so, they are probably my winner. and I like them a lot better than other bands on here.
For me Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens or Beach House wins it all. All three have lulled me to sleep super fast. Grizzly Bear could be a contender, but I love them and could never fall asleep during their music.
