Well, this has turned into the most expensive 1-day festival ever. My listing on Stubhub expired and I'm sitting on a 4-day VIP wristband, having already bought a Saturday VIP to replace it. I'm a dope. If anyone wants a 4-day VIP OR a Saturday VIP, there's a great deal available...
Damn. 4 days have been sold out for a while. Maybe Hawk it outside?
I won't be there until Saturday, so at this point I would need to next-day it to someone. Might just keep the 4-day and try to sell the Saturday outside. Or maybe some hero here will decide they want to go. But I'll see you Saturday!
Starting to get excited for this....never been before! Lineup is pretty deep and the schedule really works well with the 2 stages alternating. My crew and I will be rolling in Thursday early afternoon around 1 or 2 in an RV, anyone have an idea of what the traffic or gate situation might be like? Will it be a long wait? We did the Zelle perks thing (Thanks for the tip esteban!) and are doing the bourbon tasting on Friday afternoon. Honestly I'm probably looking forward most to the expedited entry. VIP at Bonnaroo has me spoiled.
No idea since it’s my first time as well. We got across the street hotel but no re-entry and check in at 4pm fucks up Thursday a bit. Luckily my friend will be getting there tomorrow night so if the hotel will let me drop off my car at least, I’m good. Drop me a PM if you want to grab a cocktail.
I guess I can understand that hotel no re-entry policy but it still feels kind of weird - it kept a couple I know from going to this.

Seriously debating coming down from Cincy for Pearl Jam and St. V on Saturday, I may drop you a line!
I don't think I've seen any 60's since March or April. So the nights should be nice. I'll be doused in sunscreen all weekend though.
I don't think food is up on the application, but I found it online. There are additional vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options not listed which I can't figure out how to find on the festival's site. Some of this looks interesting, some of it is festival-generic shit like Spicy Pie, Island Noodles and Rice Rice Baby.
502 Café, Big Momma’s, Blackbeard Espresso, Caffe Classico Empanadas, Ehrler’s Ice Cream, Fistfull Of Tacos, Gelato Gilberto, Happy Belly Bistro, Iroquois Grill, Longshot Lobsta, Pizza Lupo, Ramiro’s Cantina, Red Top Dogs, Spinelli’s Pizzeria, as well as festival fan favorites: Angry Bird Grill, Bangarang Bahn Mi, BBQ Highlife, Bru Bros Coffee, Burger Factory, Chicken Mac Truck, Da Big Show BBQ, Event Specialists, Funnel Cake Fantasy, Gary’s Philly Cheesesteaks, Island Noodles, Jammin Concessions, Mac Attack, Food, Phat Daddy’s Cajun, Pie Baby Pizza, Pizza Revolution, Rice Rice Baby, Spicy Pie Pizza, Stoked Poke And Açai, and Twisted Tots.
Though I'm very partial to BBQ in Lockhart, Texas, I do like hickory as well. There's a KY BBQ place here called Hillbillies which I haven't been to in a long time but always thought it was pretty good. I know they like to BBQ sheep/mutton up there, but I'm probably not going to get any of that.
I've always been curious to try BBQ mutton, but I haven't had the chance yet.
That’s a western Kentucky thing, specifically Owensboro. I highly doubt you’ll see that. Burgos, hotbrowns, fried nanner peppers. Those and Ale-8-one,are the things you’re more likely to encounter
Just got in the car for the 11ish hour drive. Even though it’s overnight, I feel like the drive home Monday is going to be a double bitch. But that’s then.

Once I get off I will be heading in. In a comfy room working until end of day thanks to the hospitality of esteban! I have a GA wrist band. See y'all there!
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I've seen lots of complaints about B&B so far - any thoughts from y'all?
I'm here and it seems pretty great so far. Feels like prices are high for everything, even for a festival and the water refill line is long and set up poorly. But we are in the VIP and it is set up really well. Music has been great so far!

I am in GA and it is pretty crowded. Can’t imagine what it will be like Sat. Prices are high but I snuck in tittie vodka. The entrances are kind of far but I snuck on another hotel’s shuttle so got dropped off right by the gates. Pretty good so far.

I so love that you snuck in tittie vodka.
I have learned from the Goddesses of Inforoo how to festival.

Headoverfeet how did you like Alanis? I was pleasantly surprised and my crew liked the show! Yes?!
Yes. I felt like the last 45 or 50 minutes was pretty good. Jack White was awesome and best show of the day. He played some older shit too but not sure if his current set lists are similar, but 4 white stripes and a Raconteurs song. Revivalists also put on a good show. Those were the clear best 3.

Jack White was incredible of course. We were in like the 4th row and I was loving it. Never thought I would hear him play Carolina Drama. I was gonna list some of my other favorites but the whole set was the highlight haha.
I ended up walking shaped like a Z with a left lean. I was laughing at myself because I was completely coherent yet no chance of standing up straight. We saw some pretty incredible shit yesterday although we got in late afternoon. Lukas & POTR was pretty good again. Isbell was mostly good except also incredible for Last of My Kind which had me close to tears. Whatever song he ended the show with also great. Brandi was dynamite so she’s hit it out of the park 2 out of 2 for shows for me. Kings of Leon was also very good. Brandi’s Covers were Creep and Bowie’s space Oddity and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I had always skipped Kings and know like 2 songs at most, but they exceeded what I figured to get from them. Today is going to be great - Pearl Jam, St. Vincent, Robert Randolph, Reignwolf if Greta is good that will be a bonus.
We’re with you in spirit, Esteban! Glad you’re enjoying that killer lineup. We would’ve returned but had already purchased Sea.Hear.Now tickets before B&B even announced their dates- but at least we enjoying some Woodford Estates Double Oaked last evening…
Excited to hear how you like the St Vincent show tonight. Sad we couldn’t make it up this weekend. Lindsey and I both want to plan a trip to New Orleans though , she’s never been and I’ve only been once. Have a blast today esteban

Yeah. I can’t wait. I think I posted it earlier, but I saw her at Day for Night when she was on stage solo and then once with her full band. So I’m real excited to see her tonight. Come down any time. I know they have direct flights or it’s about 10 1/2 hours drive. Y’all can crash at the apartment so you don’t need hotels unless you want to stay downtown. Also I have my condo about 15 minutes from the beach in Pensacola. So while you’re down, it’s only like 3 hours which for driving is good for a day or two on the way in or back out. Just give me a couple weeks heads up once y’all know when you want to come and we will make it happen.
