I noticed after I posted it that we all turned to the same page.
im struggling here. because there are a few things you've done/said that seem really off to me and then a couple (esp towards end of d3) that i was just like, "would this benefit Maf at all if hes one of them" and couldn't really figure out how it would. like that weird moving off cum onto me, with a single vote on either of us anyway which drew attention to you in effect.
have you spoken to how you feel on theo or jortles? if it isn't you, i believe the next option to consider would be one of them with jtr (in the scenario where he is mafia)
or are you really out there still thinking it is me/tranter/LD?

yeah I am actually a bit bothered by this bc now I’m 100% analyzing into the question of “is LD more likely to directly quote his teammates or to quote townies? Or one of each?”

oh good I’m glad mafia finally realized that pushing their Tranter narrative wasn’t fucking working.
Was honestly hoping this was going to be a Theo whack tho (with all due respect to Theo) bc cum and tranter have been my two strongest town reads and although I do *lean* town on Theo, I could also definitely see a scenario in which he is with JTR or Potent, or even Jortles. It’d would’ve given me very helpful clarity but alas.

yes but I’ll be honest, post game I will think it is kindaaa fucked if Theo or Cum is on your team and as a dead mafioso you opted to direct quote to interact with them in the game thread.

Because both Theo and Cum said something like “good morning except to mafia,” which was a declaration (whether genuine or false) of their status as town, keeping themselves othered from Maf in their wording. Now ofc either could be lying there but by LD coming in and being like “yes wel fuck you,” if he’s doing that with a teammate it totally crosses a line IMO bc his post served to make them both look more town in effect. So if they’re not… yeah idk, maybe I’m the only one who feels this way though.

I think the movement around LD is something to look at going forward, jtr/potent
also looking back I think it's very telling why Teddy was the one to do the last 4/no votes split instead of the usual me or potent, maybe that stuck out and teddy voters should take priority over other threads
JTR is the only person to overlap in both of these groups, one being the JTR/Potent group and the other being Teddy voters. Maddogs post about this feels important to me since this is basically the last thing he said before he was whacked, which could be mafia mindfuckery making me feel like this is important, or he was actually on their trail.
Potent - decent chance he is mafia. I think there is a very high chance there is at least 1 mafia between him and JTR, due to Maddogs groupings and their general tone on D3. I also think it’s pretty weird that they weren’t really going after each other and instead both ended up voting for Tranter by the end of the day.
Rummy - started the day off not feeling good about her, but felt a bit better as it went on. I was pretty focused on the D1 mess up of pushing Teddy and Rooloo into the position they ended up in, but I don’t think that’s something you do specifically as mafia, more just an unlucky situation.
Jortles - playing like he normally does. Reading town at the moment, and has ended up with pretty similar reads to me, though he was kind of all over the place getting to that point.
Cum - Wildcard for me. Leaning town for the moment but I don’t have a strong read.
Tranter - very nice confirming that he is town. The d3 push on him felt disingenuous, which is why I was defending him with my votes.

Just a thought but last game when Jortles was in that huge back and forth with tranter and silv he was at least putting thought into it. All we’ve gotten from Jortles this game is machismo.

Jeremy Fragrance you really think Jortles is playing just like he usually does as town? What about that wholly unnecessary ego explosion end of D3, where then he was just like “I made a funny”
He gets cocky in any role but there’s a certain tone to it when he’s Maf and…let’s just say I haven’t NOT seen it cropping up
