it's pretty contained to a singular part of the city, I only drive past it when I'm leaving the city to go east, and it's not like we have a pollution problem on the same level as LA/SF or Phoenix
(shout out Honolulu for it's low pollution)
San Francisco has good air quality and is low on the pollution index. Better than Houston.
yeah they're both pretty close, I think the initial one I looked up had a huge spike due to wild fires, which are also bad!

I haven't been to Nashville in awhile but it seems like Austin to me. City that was probably really cool in like the 70s that's way too far up its own ass, coasting on its reputation somewhat, where some of the worst, most annoying people in the country love to go to drink and do a bunch of coke.
I think any city can be exhausting if you try to cram in as much new things as you can, it works best to take your time w stuff and then make plans to go back and do the stuff you didn't do the first time
I could see living in a tourist city being obnoxious but at some point you probably get used to it
