I can't think of a single reason other than weather why LA is better than Chicago
Pacific Ocean > Lake Michigan
I'll give LA a point for that, but it also has earthquakes, mudslides, fires etc. Chicago and NYC have much better public transit systems. Anyway I voted New Orleans out this round.
I don't even know who I want to win this, but I am in Queens right now and definitely planning to go hit up a Halal food truck for lunch. It's one of my favorite meals ever and one of my favorite parts of coming here. #StreetMeat4Lyf
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Damn. Now I'm craving Halal food truck lamb and rice.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

This right here. I can't imagine any of the people bashing and/or voting for New Orleans have spent any meaningful time there. Not on a message board of music fans.
I was on Chicago but that many pics in a post got me to change to New Orleans.
Similar, but for me, it was the proportion of the photos that involved seafood. I don’t understand why people want to eat all the water bugs.
I was on a limited break from 'blocked' sites and had to do what had to be done. Seafood is the shit, so maybe if you ate some good shit you'd have a different opinion. I didn't eat any until I was over 18 because I didn't like the smell of seafood as a kid. I wasted 18 years being a food chump before realizing if I didn't try some shit, I'd never know. There are plenty of pork, beef and chicken dishes (particularly chicken clemenceau and our version of Bonne Femme) which we can lay claim to. But alas I ran out of time with most of those sites returning to blocked territory at work. :/

LA has the best music festivals in the country near or in it and everyone hits it when they come to the states. I could not care less how much jazz and brass there is in New Orleans. And it's not like NY and Chicago don't have anything going on in that genre.

There was a halal Lebanese truck at Dillon the other night. Was tempted, but the line was long.
I hate Bourbon Street with a passion. It was better before the 1984 World's Fair when it was anything goes. Now it's just drunken stumbling tourists, pimps and hoes.
Chicago till the end of the month. Chi obviously wins but also I’d obviously be incredibly broke.

Weirdly enough yeah, but you’d have to miss Rezn, who are great. (I saw baroness at the same venue last year though so that’d be the real way you’d miss that conflict.)
Today New Orleans will be sacrificed at the bloody altar of Inforoo ranking lists. That's not the worst outcome considering we lasted until the biggest 3 cities in the country were left. That said what needed to be said despite some occasional potshots from those who haven't spent any meaningful time here. That's okay too. As promised, I said I could name 20 iconic dishes that were invented, popularized or improved upon here that people ought to know. I don't think many other cities besides New York, no matter how big, can match that. And certainly no one can match it on a per capita basis. We aren't talking ketchup drenched meatloaf and boxed mashed potatoes. But that's okay too as plenty of America would just as soon live off of 1960's era TV dinners in between binging on fast food and Fox News. I'm sure I could probably take this up to 40, but I'm not trying to go obscure.

haha. Speaking of Drake, I wonder if Toronto isn't a top 2 or 3 city in the US and Canada. It's cold, but that's a place I've been close to and always wanted to spend some time in.

If we were including Canadian cities, I think Vancouver would’ve done well.
