We’re so close to getting LA out of here. Come on guys. Just think about Dodgers and Lakers. Don’t you hate them? Hell they just bought a championship with the Rams too and people in LA don’t even care about the team.
New Orleans is a cool place and it's deserving to have made it this far. But in my mind it's just not in the same league as the other three. Maybe it's predictable and unexciting that the three most populated cities would be in the final three, but it's also appropriate.

I still haven't voted yet. I am waiting until later to do so.
Popeye's originated here, but it's is corporate now and hq'd in Miami. Just like Ruth's Chris moved to Orlando after Katrina and when it became a stock corporation. Fuck 'em.
There's shitloads better chicken here than Popeye's though. Willie Mae's is its own thing with that wet better that turns into crackly bites. There are several really good places around town to get fried chicken.
If I'm going to chain though, it's going to be Gus's over Popeye's every time.
Sorry @druid for the Willie Mae's photo

Canada - Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto would probably all be Top 10 US/Canada.

Haha yeah that is funny. What's especially funny though is that the Dodgers actually used to be in NY, in Brooklyn. That's how they got their name. They were dodging trolley cars on the street.
And then the Lakers also. They're from Minnesota originally, the Land of 10,000 Lakes people call it. I never really cared for either team but I always thought that bit of history was interesting.
And then of course LA has the Clippers too. They used to be in San Diego, so their name comes from the clipper ships that used to populate the bay down there. And the Anaheim Angels. They're actually called the Angels because Los Angeles is Spanish for "the angels".
Fwiw The Daily Meal ranks Los Angeles as the best Mexican food in the U.S. (Chicago 2nd).
Not gonna spam the thread with pics.
I don't know Daily Meal, but southern California has like 25 million people there, many with Mexican ties and/or ancestry. It should be up there. But I'd be surprised if you couldn't find places in El Paso, San Diego (also part of Southern CA), San Antonio, Santa Fe, Phoenix, etc. that would also rate. I'm going back to mental history, but I think Mexico has like 6 or 7 distinct cuisines. I don't know how it's really rankable unless we personally know them all and what they're drawing influences off of. I'm going look up that shit in a second.
Btw, I love Los Angeles even though it's been 37 years since I spent those couple months there. There's plenty of bullshit associated with Tinseltown and selling you on styles and materialism. But it still fucking rules.

Those Brooklyn Bums...at least that is what New Yorkers called them at the time.

Clippers came from Buffalo before San Diego. They were the Braves on my childhood bedroom curtains.
haha. Speaking of Drake, I wonder if Toronto isn't a top 2 or 3 city in the US and Canada. It's cold, but that's a place I've been close to and always wanted to spend some time in.

Well LA teams are generally just more fun to watch than teams from any of these other cities right now.

I can’t say there’s an LA team that I enjoy watching. The Rams are pretty fun I guess but I never had that thought.
LA is the best food city in the US right now. New Orleans probably isn’t in the top 5.
You are fucking insane.
Seems insane but if you do like 10 minutes of food blog listicle perusing, most places have LA, Chicago, and often NYC, in the top 5 for whatever.
Also Lots of places list San Antonio as the number 1 in Mexican, but I really think if it's whether you prefer Cali-Mex (avocado, cilantro, light meats) or Tex-Mex (beans and cheese, pork and beef).

You can get all the stuff Esteban posted earlier in Houston, made by people who moved here from New Orleans, plus the Tex-Mex, plus a lot of other shit.

They were teams from other cities but got poached.

Yep. Houston is a better food city than New Orleans.
