Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
More Zorn, four of my favorite bassists (Palladino, Ismaily, Laswell, Dunn) doing cool shit, James Blood, Cubanos Postizos. Incredible. It feels like Capps revisited the weirdest of the aughts Bonnaroo run.
Did I mention Bill Laswell?! He’s in really rough shape lately, but I’m delighted to see him getting more show checks. I scrolled the list of names on his GoFundMe (“You gotta give…”) and it really gave me joy to see how many artists I love care about this man as much as I do. A Painkiller set is probably designed to compensate his current physical limitations more than the Praxis shows were though.
I’m looking forward to experiencing this vicariously through you all. Our baby girl is due in December (we’re almost certain she was conceived in Knoxville this year), so we’re sitting this one out. Eyes to 2024!
Your presence will be missed but completely understandable.

I attended my first Big Ears in 2022 and will be returning in 2023. This site was great for planning my first trip. I'm a pretty big Zorn fan so these two years have been slam dunks. I'm also responsible for booking this year's Jam Room Fest in Columbia SC (I posted the poster in the local/regional sub) but we have several acts that I think would be of interest to Big Ears fans: Sun Ra Arkestra, Mourning BLKStar, and Titan To Tachyons in particular. It has the added benefit of being free.

Thanks for sharing this. That's a great lineup, and free! I think me might be rescheduling our camping plans for the weekend so that we can attend.
New Makaya McCraven and Beth Orton albums out today. I’m halfway through MM and really digging it.
The Comet Is Coming also dropped a new one today in alumni news.
Is Beth Orton involved this year?
Ahh damn. You’re right. They teased but she isn’t on the lineup. She’s either in the second round or they couldn’t seal the deal. Fingers crossed it’s the former because that’s a great album.

Speaking of Negativland... They used to broadcast their radio show ("Over the Edge") online, and while I was listening at work (my first real coding job!), I heard a track from my band Ousia playing in the background! Naturally, I completely freaked out. Found an archive of it last year; music is from 04:45 - 08:40: archive.org/details/OTE_20000427_True-False_2000

I wonder what's happening with the ticket sales... the low ticket alert for Premiere/Sonic was 3 weeks ago, but they're still available. Conversely, I believe both of these levels for BEF2022, were sold out within one week. More tickets available? Or are people waiting until Magma & Squarepusher are announced?
