Breaking from tradition, feel like it's the only way to solve this properly
I don't think I will need to petition for the winner here, but I am qualified to do so if need be. Mrs Snoke is from LA, I'm from NY, and we moved to Chicago a while back and our kids were born here.
Chicago was described here a couple of times as being a lesser NY, and to an extent that's true. But that's true for the negative things too. It's cleaner, it's less noisy, and it's less congested. You can also get much more in real estate with a better commute and a more comfortable life for a growing family.
But the winner here has to be the city where you're most capable of living peak life experience in the prime years of your life. It's always been NY and it will always be NY.
I have never been to NYC. Well I went technically once when I was like 6 to visit my Titi Trina on Lemon St., where ever the fuck that is. I just remember seeing tall buildings and being in a small apartment with a ottoman/stool. I would love to skate in NYC...at the rink or even on the streets if there are safe (not going to die) areas that are scenic to skate on. It is on my bucket list, LA is also. Never been to either.
What kind of skate group? I am retired derby but I skate at least 3 times a week.
In the summer we meet up in a playground yard in Brooklyn on a weekend day, and someone brings their speaker and we just skate around and chill.
Oh yeah we have this place (Crescent Park Wharf) right on the river that is mostly covered super smooth and huge that we skate around. I have my skates today to go after work if I get outta here in time. We also have this path call the Greenway which runs from mid-city, all the way down to the Quarter. We don't skate that as much but for holidays we will organize skates starting there and then through the city. We do the Grim Reaper Skate (Halloween -ish), Christmas and a NYD skate. My girl dressed up in a nude onesie with a diaper and a sash, it was hilarious.

Skating (and yoga) is life.
I can’t skate for shit, but if Vieux ever blessed our fair city, I’d strap on a pair so y’all could skate circles around me and have a laugh.

Well if you don't move out of NYC, I will start planning a trip for 2023. thejeremy and I have been talking about going to either NYC or Los Angeles for awhile now.
when they finish the MSG Sphere y'all are going to be seeing my morning jacket or whatever band you love there and you'll be like "las vegas is the greatest city in the world i feel deep shame for voting them out round 6 of inforoo city survivor, postjack was right, i should've listened to him, i will listen to postjack in the future."
I'm looking at it right now. I'm at an outdoor event and it's 55 and rainy. Vegas can get fucked.
Only been to LA but I'm still voting for NYC lmao. My sister lived there for a while and she's moving back this year so I'm really excited to visit. LA is fine but I'd rather go pretty much anywhere else on the California coast and there's just no way Chicago is the best city here, sorry Chicagoans
LA is easily the worst of the three. LA proper is just a big, dirty city with not a lot of character. It's the cities surrounding LA that are nice.
This is a terrible take. Los Angeles has a ton of character. There's a multitude of neighborhoods in "proper" LA with different cultures and backgrounds. Mexican, Korean, Thai, Ethiopian, Iranian and so on and so on.
