I really thought SHM would get like 10-15mins solo at the start. Then basically act as Abel's backing DJ for a majority of the set, before ending with another bit of them solo closing with this song...

You know, if his guest appearance was planned all along, at this point it's basically getting $8.5 million for his name on the poster. That's a real fleecing, gotta hand it to him!

Abel wasn't ready to go with a full show. So at best we were looking at him playing for like 30 minutes

Yea, but I figured he'd come out pretty soon into the set and do like 40-50 mins of a 90 min set with SHM as his backing and getting like 20 mins solo on either side. He doesn't have a full show ready to go, but he can easily fill the middle parts of a set by performing his own songs, bring out a few guests, work the stage, etc.
It's not like he's never done this before. He doesn't need his own stage set up to put on a show.
SHM aren't even on stage anymore are they? This could've been a cool unique collab thing, but instead it looks like they really just split it into 2 parts and let Able use their set up.
