they've worked together before. and Starboy was basically all backed by DJs. They could've pulled something special together, it wouldnt have been that hard to remix the Weeknd's songs slightly to work..

SHM should have at least been fun. It looked like exactly the kind of show your group decides to go because no one can agree and it’s the headliner to but halfway through you remember Jamie XX would have been a much better choice.
