haha so i thiiiink it might be more poly/ENM-centric language? because if you've got multiple regular partners, clarifying which (if any) you might plan to fluid bond with, how you're going to be super safe in protection with others etc. is imperative
Gotcha. Yeah I’ve only had 5 partners in the last 10 years or so, so I guess I’m low on fluid or something.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I hear you, and I'll be honest I need some help on this. These types of spaces are not presented to me by others, and I really don't have a lot of friends here in NYC so I'm kinda a 36 year old newb. I know they exist, but I don't know where or who to talk to about like events. My roommate was part of that culture, but COVID, took a LOT of wind out of those poly situations and they are now more mentally concentrated on their farm upstate and fostering their partnership. They knew I was a little queer before I did, so it's tough knowing how to even take the next step
Um, also... it's not like kink is accepted vocally by my community. In fact it is one of those things that they demonize heavily. So I'm still trying to get those Christian vibe energies off me to this day
I'm sure if you ask your roomie in an effective and straight-forward way, they would help! The hardest part in any problem is asking for help.
There's a place called Temple that does a lot of suspension and rope workshops.
I will when it's a good time. Unfortunately they are a teacher. and are on their same roll of covid and also can be at their other house in upstate new york. So this year has been not what I expected and these are steps I would have taken if I had more time with them. Unfortunately covid changed a lot for some people.

I had a sex date this afternoon and we were too sad about the shooting to have a good time. Definitely the downside to both parties being emotionally available empaths.

Stupid question of the day: if you're a vegan, top a guy off, and swallow - does that technically not count as vegan?
If we want to go by strict definitions of identity maybe not, but most vegans I know do so for moral reasons, as animals cannot consent to their flesh or by-products being used. Humans can, so as long as there's consent I'd imagine so.
