Didn't see this was about Coachella and thought it was a thread where people list which 3 bands they're into the most on any given day. Would've been cool js.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Top Moments 1. When Billie came out on the platform directly over where we were standing in the back and sang Ocean Eyes. 2. Going absolutely ham dancing. This happened often but particularly for PDM, Fred again, and Jamie xx. It was great to just completely let loose. 3. Seeing old faces and meeting new ones (and their friends/significant others). Was privileged to meet stlallison, Jeremy Fragrance, stinky, Whereispassionpit, and pmo as well as link up with Voltron and justinmn9319 for the first time in seven years or so. So many solid motherfuckers on this site.

1. Caribou (best of the weekend) 2. DJ Koze 3. Floating Points Also loved Caroline Polacheck, Flume, Rina and Limperatrice this day was nuts
1. Jamie xx 2. Viagra Boys 3. Maneskin or Fred Again..
Favorite moments 1. Being very hungover and drunk and seeing my friends Jake Jortles and Peyton randomly walk into our campsite Saturday morning 2. Caribou - Sun goat tier live song 3. Caroline and oklou singing at flume back to back. 4. A song Daphni played that I don’t know but was insane.
you're knocking off the act entirely from your list, despite your feeling on the set itself, because Fred's team maybe was sorta shitty to a lesser known act about their set time?

wasnt just his management, fred himself and tbm were dismissive and rude to her, and she was the only person of color on the entire bill. definitely some racist undertones to how they treated her according to her account. also shitty that neither of them addressed this after numerous people have called them out.
I mean everybody is allowed an opinion here but at the same time this also reads to me as a disorganized event that was running behind with a hard curfew and they were trying to figure out who could play and when on the fly, and it doesn't look like either Fred or TBM were in charge of who was playing when to begin with. There doesn't even appear to be anything that was said that was racist, only a conclusion that was drawn by the DJ that she wasn't being allowed to play because of her race and, once again, not because the event was obviously a disorganized cluster that was running out of time before a curfew.
Look I 100% get working to bring diversity to music and electronic music in particular, and I also 100% get it that people can draw any conclusion they want, but it does seem a little extreme to say you are considering never listening to these people again (in the other thread) and redacting names off your favorite sets of the weekend off of one side to a story with no video evidence to corroborate and with an equally plausible explanation.
Morgan Wallen? Fuck that guy to infinity. This? I mean...like I said everybody is entitled to their opinion.
