Friends flight keeps getting delayed, stuck at LAX until he arrives. Ready to get some in n out, hit the road and set up camp hopefully before sundown. Anyone from weekend one know how much iced coffee was in the campgrounds and in the fest?
The coffee tent in the campgrounds was far and away the busiest tent each morning, like I would safely say an hour wait even starting at 8AM. Do yourself a favor and buy a jug of cold brew and throw it in your cooler.
Oh! Shoutout to whoever recommended the Trill burger place in Indio Central for food value. Burger, fries, and drink was $25, which is pretty decent for the fest. Also in Indio Central is Cena's vegan burritos and nachos, both were $20 but very hefty and filling.
What was the drink? Trying to find chasers that aren’t lemonade/red bull

And that’s why Glastonbury doesn’t come close to Coachella when it comes to revenue. I get that most revenue goes to charities, but earnings still don’t come close to Coachella even if they wanted to keep it as profit.
Risks make money and Coachella won’t stop any time soon. Losing a headliner still puts them well above the rest.
Last time Coachella posted their revenue was 2017 and they set a record. They’ve only grown and upped ticket prices since then.
When Frank Ocean fans look back at the thousands of dollars they spent to see their favorite artist, I'm sure their first thought will be "I'm really glad Coachella made a massive profit off my misery."

There's an In-N-Out walking distance from the airport while you wait for your friend.

Oh damn right on. I was gonna wait for him, but he shouldn’t have picked a delayed flight amirite
The one major negative to staying by downtown Palm Springs was there was no In-N-Out near me. I did doordash some Dell Taco on Sunday which was A+ tho.
Hmm, I wonder if this is true - they're a local (SoCal) promoter, by the way
We pretty much know PHm is gonna be there but to have them "headline" when they got Skrillex and Four Tet at HARD Summer already is sorta questionable?

Yeah not gonna pretend PHM is a great headliner replacement, that being said, It'd probably get me to at least check offer up for wristbands on Sunday morning...

It definitely is. Hope this is not the case tbh
I would think that this guy got the news and assumed thats the only spot they could end up compared to just being in Sahara tomorrow which there seems to be a consensus on at this point.
Honestly the easiest "bandaid" for this is having Calvin close out Sunday, have BP close Saturday like they should've been anyways. Have PHM go on before BP on Saturday. If Blink is still there, have them go on Outdoor at some point. Or switch someone off the main like RTJ last year.
You have Gorillaz, Bjork, and Calvin Harris as headline caliber acts you could just bump up. Would be easier to find a new last minute sub than headliner.

I don’t think the actual point of my reply needs to be addressed because it’s pretty obvious, but yes, I’m sure they’re very happy about Coachella/GV’s profits. I’m also sure Coachella/GV is extremely upset that that people that buy tickets to their fest for one artist might never buy tickets to see one artist again.

Move Chris Lake and Fisher to the main stage after BLACKPINK on Saturday.
I am not sure if those 2 ex Hockey players post here or at Reddit 😂 - we can do better- we have been BS this for years lol, unlike them they had seen Frank but I was more sure than them that Frank will cancel. Lol

They should never do that to begin with. I would be interested to see how many people bought coach tix for Bey in 2017 and still went even with the guarantee of her returning in 2018. If Coach still sold single day tickets then a ton of refunds would be coming. Luckily they dont. How many other risky acts are there to try and book who wont show up? Theyve gone through them all. And even Prince still showed up.
