I felt a great disturbance, as if millions of Soundcloud artists suddenly changed their names to TBA, and we were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

Wow so weekend 1 ends up with no surprises and an all time bad headlining set, while weekend 2 gets a set from the most hyped DJ group on the planet? I really can't believe they try and market Coachella as 2 identical experiences when that's clearly not the case. Weekend 2 gets less technical difficulties, cheaper tickets, less influencers and smaller crowds, and now better exclusive performances? I don't know how much longer I can support this large cooperations endeavors because this lack of balance between weekends MUST stop!
I don’t think the actual point of my reply needs to be addressed because it’s pretty obvious, but yes, I’m sure they’re very happy about Coachella/GV’s profits. I’m also sure Coachella/GV is extremely upset that that people that buy tickets to their fest for one artist might never buy tickets to see one artist again.
They should never do that to begin with. I would be interested to see how many people bought coach tix for Bey in 2017 and still went even with the guarantee of her returning in 2018. If Coach still sold single day tickets then a ton of refunds would be coming. Luckily they dont. How many other risky acts are there to try and book who wont show up? Theyve gone through them all. And even Prince still showed up.
I think people will get over it and the formula will continue to work as usual. The blame is and should be solely on the artist. The artist is the one putting their fans at risk by performing at a festival that has the standard “lineup subject to change” warning.
I went in fully understanding Frank could drop at any minute and that my ticket is to the festival not a Frank concert. Honestly I kinda wish we got what W2 has now. I would have taken that over a 15-20 minute Frank set (excluding all the wasted time). Now I’m just praying that Fred realizes Miami is a real place on the Earth by the end of the year.

call me crazy, but blink 182 and tba as the headliners of coachella in 2023 feels pathetic
You’re crazy!
there is nothing unique about these headliners now. bad bunny and blackpink toured the world. blink is about to tour and now fredtetrex has been everywhere lately.
