I feel like Paramore’s fanbase grew a lot as a residual effect of Olivia Rodrigo’s popularity. They were always popular, but a top 40 most popular artist in the world breaking out off an album clearly influenced by them brought a lot more ears to them, and it’s why they’d be in the convo to headline rather than sub at a fest like SK now.
Paramore had pretty much the same monthly listeners even before Olivia Rodrigo came onto the scene. They just have a lot of hits, consistently, dating back to 2007. They have I think 11 songs with over 100 million plays on Spotify.

Music Midtown just got canceled which is fucking depressing considering how solid the lineup was. Now we just got to hope this doesn’t snowball and affect Shaky or 420fest
This blows. We just found SK for the first time this year and have basically committed to coming down every year going forward. Hotel is booked and I'm ready to buy tickets blind the moment they go up. Hoping a solution can be found. I really find it hard to believe they cannot find some way to get something logical through the legislature. All it would take is some simple exclusion specific to large gatherings where security is present, tickets are purchased, etc. Maybe there wasn't time for MM but will be for SK and 420. This just feels like a situation where a law is being leveraged beyond its intent.

the part that Ponce is on isn’t really “public”. Its fenced off year round.
Shaky has already happened twice since the court ruling. Don’t think they’re in danger.
It really depends, though, on whether anyone takes this as inspiration to sue Shaky for the right to bring their gun. "Weapons" are explicitly mentioned on their "Prohibited Items" list, so it's the same basic legal question if some asshole decides to make a court issue out of it.
