It was in a parking lot when they had it before but the headliners were Alabama Shakes, The National and Modest Mouse. The festival is bigger now.

It's def too big now they'd have to scale back the fest but in a worst case scenario I'd take it.... quality over quantity! Last SK at AS was solid across the whole weekend

Make of this what you will, but within the last week or so, the electronic sign at the civic center has started advertising the park and center as an event space and they made a website. One Music Fest also looks like it’s still on.

But, does this get around the public property rule?
The city no longer owns Civic Center they sold it to Atlanta Housing Authority, which isn't a govt entity but it's housing programs etc are under HUD authority so perhaps it would qualify as "govt property" and they could dance around it? I'm sure SK and every other festival has their fleet of lawyers looking at loopholes
