Just a reminder: Pulp has *still* not announced their 2023 dates and it would be nice if they played some warm up shoes in US in advance of playing the huge Euro fests

I’d be good with 0 overlap with Innings Fest. The Glorious Sons would be nice, they are an energetic live band, but the rest of that lineup is mediocre.

It kinda seems like Phil only litigated once and has been holding onto that for the last 8 years (even though he lost). In all the emails I am seeing, he only seems to say "you could be sued for this" and isn't even threatening action himself. Didn't even threaten it for MM. Shaky's also been ignoring his emails for a while too seemingly. Maybe he just became the figurehead for this since he's the most vocal and seems to love himself a good bit and someone else threatened suit but this really just looks like a bunch of losers with no actual power sitting around complaining all day on a forum. Couldn't imagine that being my life.

Heartless Bastards are great. I get why they're as low on that poster as they are in terms of profile, but IMO they're better than half the acts above them on their day.

I love the pro-gun "it's all about me" delusion. You would think SK was planned and that 50,000 people showed up solely to keep him from carrying a handgun across Central Park for 3 days. God forbid anyone have a good time in a public outdoor space unless YOU can be there WITH your gun. If you really feel too unsafe to attend SK without a handgun for protection, I fully recommend staying home.

most of these pro-gun conservatives can't fathom not having a gun on them 24/7 because they're too scared to go outside are the same type to whine on Facebook all day about how liberals are pussies and men are soft these days.

I keep wondering if there was an ulterior motive for cancelling Music Midtown that they just used this as an excuse for. People have said it was actually selling well so this probably isn’t the case, but it just seems weird to me a corporation as big as LN would capitulate to the demands of one dude with the army of lawyers they have.

Agreed. Heartless bastards put on a great show, and they’ve played shaky twice, including the first year. I think it’d be great to bring them back for our tenth birthday
These just seem like the type of people to go to Waffle House at 8 in the morning in groups to bitch about politics and harass the college aged and teenage waitresses

With firefly canceling this early makes me kind of hopeful that Shaky is still happening. I’d figure if they weren’t happening they would have announced it by now

Just add a Blue Lives Matter ballcap w a fishhook attached to the bill, and a punisher skull on the back window of his truck and the costume is complete
