Well Kemp was just projected to win so probably bad news for GA festivals
Not good in general, but I don’t think it’s a death sentence for festivals or anything. Lowers the odds of the law itself changing somewhat (even though Live Nation/their owners are probably just as much in Kemp’s pockets as the NRA). But ultimately it’ll come down to whether (a) this one guy actually follows through with his lawsuit threats that even a lot of his fellow far right hardline gun rights supporters call him an asshole for considering, (b) what the outcome of that lawsuit is.
Kemp being re-elected doesn’t necessarily mean anything good or bad. He has nothing to lose now so could easily intervene at this point.
I think Abrams was more likely to be a friend here. I'd be surprised if Kemp scaled back on his generally reckless attitude towards guns. It was/is a major part of his platform. But we can hope.
Clearly I don't have a finger on the pulse of GA politics. I thought this race was a lot closer.

Yeah don’t forget that Kemp was the guy who had an ad where he pointed a gun at a 16 year old kid
Would likely have to be, he’s gotten huge since his 2019 performance (which I skipped for Maggie Rogers, what a tough conflict).
yeah that was brutal. my group skipped both to save our spot for Tame. figured Tyler would be back and I'd rather see a solo headlining show than fest set. little did i know that'd be one of my last opportunities to hear him play his hits. i missed the Sturgill/Tyler tour right before the pandemic. still kicking myself over it
