Cypress Hill and Digable Planets reminded me of this badass concert poster I saw a couple years ago. It's actually Dilated Peoples but whatever it's rad.
Don't like the headliners on this year really but there is some cool stuff on the undercard. Muse-Volta-Soccer Mommy-Shame is a pretty great Shaky day. Sunday is also decent with some of the psychedelia. Friday is the weakest day, still has some good stuff. If I lived in Atlanta I wouldn't be thrilled but I'd probably go, especially Saturday.
I wonder why they didn't do a blind presale with those tier 1 prices. Not everyone will go blind but if some folks are willing to roll the dice then why not allow it? Would definitely avoid pissing off those who might arguably be considered some of the most loyal attendees. I say that latter part under the assumption that you're most likely not getting many first timers to bite on a blind presale.

Because they didn’t have the permit yet.
That doesn’t really explain why they couldn’t have had a blind presale last week (even if for a day) and just pushed out regular on sale to offset. But of course maybe there are some reasons they had to start the regular sale when they did.
I love the 90's hiphop added on Friday. They know there's a link to Golden Era hip-hop and alt rock. Really good lineup, could do without The Lumineers but I just feel like they're such an easy booking. Florence and the Machine would have been a good Sunday headliner.

I didn't get my ticket on the first day and in the days since I think I've changed my mind. Gonna wait for some other stuff to drop. Maybe I'll go to Riot for the first time.

I was initially very disappointed with the lineup and set to not go, but several friends want to go which makes the travel cost more reasonable for me, so I'm in. Most excited for Friday by far with all the quality throwback acts (Cypress Hill, Peaches, Digable Planets, Peaches, Be Your Own Pet) + hopefully Yeah Yeah Yeahs into The Killers to close the night and maybe a good aftershow... should be a top tier Shaky day. Lots of stuff from the undercard I don't know but sound interesting from their Spotify bios. Muse & Lumineers are disappointing headliners, but I haven't seen either and like a handful of songs, so it could be worse. If the schedule is decent, this should be a fun time.
Just nothing on here exciting me like Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, King Gizzard, Molchat Doma, Biffy Clyro this year.
I’m definitely warming up to the lineup. Aside from the headliners, I think it’s pretty solid. I haven’t seen Muse in about 10 years, but I would be excited to see them. Other two headliners are a miss for me, but I think they will bring people in.
Would love to see Tenacious D, Mars Volta, Peaches, Walkmen, Cypress Hill, Digable Planets, Shame, Sunflower Bean, FLips Yoshimi set. Recently saw both Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Father John Misty, but love both and can always see them again. I’d have a great time, but coming from NY it’s still a trip and I’ve already committed to Roo.
Reserved a hotel so far. Will probably wait for other lineups to drop, but I’m leaning towards my 5th (consecutive) SK.

Wish we could combine the two lineups into one. I think Shaky has the better midcard, but Kilby nailed the headliners and undercard. Besides the obvious Pavement: Caroline Polachek, Ethel Cain, Jean Dawson, Indigo De Souza, Wednesday, Julie, & Deeper would've been great bookings.
I couldn’t care less if I ever see the strokes again but there are two others on that lineup I’m curious about. Anyone seen Hippo Campus and/or Gus Dapperton? Thinking about heading to Asheville to see that show at Rabbit Rabbit.

Hippo Campus were delightful at Bonnaroo. Just a great summer vibe. Wasn’t a fan of LP3 at all though.

Seemed odd to me at first m, then I learned Lumineers played the first SK so they wanted a nice bookend for the 10 yr anniv

I'm actually looking forward to the Lumineers, and I can't believe I'm saying that. Would I have preferred like, 50 other headliners? Yea. Still tho. Better than ID, MGK, PATD, FOB, etc

fall out boy has much more good songs than Lumineers

As the lone person around these part who actually likes The Lumineers, I've loved seeing them progress up to headliner status and still doing these big shows. I think they're great live, but that's just me. And I do feel a little bad for everyone else who hates them so much having to see them headline a festival they're going to. But c'est la vie.

You’re not alone. Tbh I had no idea they were so reviled here until this lineup was released. I’ve seen them at a smallish amphitheater and at Wrigley just a few months ago. I would have preferred a different headliner, mainly because I just saw them (same goes for the Killers), but them being on the lineup is by no means a disappointment to me. I’m looking forward to this lineup quite a bit.
they're already on tier 4 which is just as expensive as Bonnaroo. Just not worth it.
Really depends on what one values. To me these are such different experiences. I'll never camp at Bonnaroo at this point so from a logistics perspective Bonnaroo is a huge pain in the ass relative to Shaky.

yeah for sure but with Roo you're just getting a ton more value for your ticket
