Foo Fighters - Kendrick Lamar - The Strokes Paramore - *EDM act* - Yeah Yeah Yeahs Billy Strings - Noah Kahan - King Gizzard The National or The Walkmen - Pixies - Brutus
Brutus probably higher than they will actaully be.
Slight edit.
Foo Fighters - Kendrick Lamar - The Strokes Paramore - *EDM act* - Yeah Yeah Yeahs Billy Strings - Noah Kahan - King Gizzard
The Walkmen - Pixies - Young Fathers
More of a dream lineup, but I think most of these hold. Young Fathers would be awesome.
Kendrick and Gizz on the same day would be ideal for my tastes as long as there's little to no overlap
The original 2022 schedule had Gizz going until 8:50 on blue, ten minutes before the headliner was to go on. If Gizz and Kendrick are on the same day, there might not be any overlap, unless Kendrick's set is over 2 hours like Metallica's was (started at 8:40 and Goose went until 8:50).

Can we move Paramore into the 3rd slot instead of The Strokes to have a second line of like My Morning Jacket - Bon Iver - Wu Tang?

Yeah I found doing the blue to green run to be manageable when I did it for Tyler the Creator to Jack White in 2018. Missed one jack White song but that's okay
Id be fairly happy with all of lines 3 and 4, which is a bummer
we usually have some overlap, i think it’ll be fairly significant
If Bottlerock doesn't have unopposed headliners, so what if Post Malone is in the top line? There's sure to be something on another stage that's worth catching.
Unless and until Boston Calling provides an alternative to the Green stage closer (and with C3 taking over, that may be sooner than we realize), an act you really don't like at all is going to be more of an annoyance at Boston Calling than a festival where you simply check out something on another stage instead of the main stage.

That might be faster than making a bee line from the Red stage to the porta-potties in the middle of the ground and then to Green. I heard the opening of Mr. Brightside while standing in a porta-potty, which I wasn't happy about, but there was no way that I was missing a minute of The National.
I've got a business call which should last 30 minutes right at 10 am on lineup drop morning. (I was the one who scheduled it, probably before it became clear it was lineup drop morning.) It's going to be awfully tempting to check out the BC site or my email or social media to find out who's performing, but I'd rather wait until it's over so I can yelp with joy or curse the heavens when I see the lineup, and immediately come here to complain about the lineup.
so hypedd yall. finally a lineup for a fest i’m attending this year
90 minute countdown.
We've done a lot of predictions but I have a feeling there's going to be some act on the lineup that will come out of left field.
there usually is, i was genuinely surprised by Rufus Du Sol and Cheap Trick last year, the former being a good surprise and the latter being a bad one lol

Cheap Trick was pretty much a "no contest," rather than a loss, due to the horrible sound at the Red stage during their set. Had they had better sound, the set may have landed differently for a lot of the crowd.
people got mad at me on reddit yesterday for calling the cheap trick booking "out of touch"
Cheap Trick was a good booking for what was originally planned to be Foo Fighters day at Boston Calling. The odd thing about last year is that any booking done with an eye towards a compatible run up to the headliner was tossed out the window once the cancellations happened.

The Cheap Trick booking, along with The Struts, was most likely due to their relationship with Foo Fighters/Dave Grohl/Taylor Hawkins. It became even more out of touch when Foos had to drop.
