to be completely honest I've never actually listened to a full album, just seen some clips lol
I’ve only made it through the singles and Teatro d'ira: Vol. I and I don’t hate it. Would I travel to see a concert? Probably not. Would I see it at a festival? Schedule pending; yes.
I showed Mrs. GL that clip from the VMA’s and her response was “It’s got man ass, tits, fire and lasers. I’m doing this”. So there’s a very real possibility that I’ll see it anyways.

yeah if they tour the US, I'm not driving to Atlanta for it, but you're damn right I'll see it if they play Birmingham or Bonnaroo
i dont get why Alvvays, Arlo Parks, and Japanese Breakfast are billed so low here, especially considering Yves Tumor is in bigger font. like i love them but theres no way Yves sells more tix than any of those other acts

the billing for this is just kinda weird compared to the main primaveras, like for some reason MMJ and St. Vincent switched spots, also Central Cee and Le Tigre

So I’m wondering with a strong Porto lineup how that’s gonna affect Madrid. Not gonna lie, we briefly discussed selling Madrid and hitting Porto as it would be cheaper but ultimately decided against it.
My thinking is that’s gonna drive even less people to want to go to Ciudad del Rock.

Mrs. GL and I started a bet on if MMJ closes their set out with “Oh! Sweet Nuthin” and really hoping to win this. I got a plate of churros and a hot chocolate from Chocolatería San Ginés riding on this so it’s serious business.

I love this cover they do but I can't imagine they would do this during an hour festival set.
Just hit my 40th Jacket show for Halloween and have been chasing it a long time, haven't seen it yet, and they haven't played it since their 3 night run in San Fran 2015.

DON’T DO THIS TO ME jaolen5543 I HAVE A LOT RIDING ON THIS.
I betting they get more than an hour tbh. Not much but at least an hour fifteen. I’m honestly not sure they even play it anymore, honestly. I went digging into the new tour hoping to see Phone Went West and only saw that a handful of times. I didn’t see Oh Sweet Nothin at all.
Just hopeful as Primavera is leaning heavy into the “I’ll Be Your Mirror” and Cale already set to play. You’re probably right though.

I had no idea how little they play this song live. I can say that I have seen MMJ play Oh! Sweet Nuthin 2 out of the 8 times. Sometimes it just comes down to stupid luck.

Yeah it hasn't been on the covers rotation since the Waterfall Tour Days, I went to OBH this year thinking we might get it....we did not.

Tokischa rules and I'm so happy they have her and Rosalía on the same day. Those sets both seem can't-miss to me, especially given how North America-friendly that midcard is on Saturday. Only conflict that would really fuck that up for me is Twigs. Or maybe Avalon.

granted i saw her on her Magdalene tour but FKA Twigs is the only act i’d see over Rosalía that day. and maybe Death Grips. Rosalía’s current tour and stage production is incredible and i’m sure seeing her in her home city would be a wonderful experience

I've seen Rosalía at ACL and I'm personally more into Tokischa's music than Twigs' so that's kinda where I'm at. Might keep an eye on where they're each playing here. Both could easily be at Coachella.
