For some reason, I remember feeling underwhelmed when this lineup came out. Maybe because 2022 was so ridiculous
But after looking through it again a couple months later, damn they did it again
yeah it really is a fantastic lineup. its easy to feel underwhelmed in comparison to last year after we had multiple single days with top 3s that could easily headline their own days at any other fest. Coachella reclaimed their throne this year but Prima is still a very close second

I think a lot of the off brand bookings like Halsey, Calvin, Maneskin, Ghost, Central Cee, etc put people off from appreciating an otherwise really deep lineup. I think people also really wanted Pulp.

Prob just gonna fly into some other city and take a train. Pretty stoked about being there on race day. Fortunately it should be around 4 PM local time so there will still be time for a show after. Brunch probably isn't happening for me this year. Last year's brunch lineup was insane, too bad I got COVID.

This lineup crushes Coachella with a sledgehammer imo

I think Coachella’s uncharestically weak deeper undercard gives Prima the edge, but the top part of that Coachella lineup is flames
If flights were just a bit more reasonable I’d look at making this happen. The same flight I got last year for about $600 is well over $1000…
heres hoping next year isnt during f1. i’m pretty sure i’m gonna try to come back since i cant make coachella happen for 2024
This isn’t just F1. Airlines have just gone crazy with “inflation” prices. A ticket that was $500 or $600 pre-pandemic is now hovering around $800 to a Grand pending on the day of the week I travel.

i wouldnt say the deeper undercard is weak, not as strong as last years undercard but i think thats because they booked such a strong undercard last year that its hard to follow since they dont really rebook acts the second year. still a ton of gems. but yeah the headliners and second liners are just insane, so many extremely rare acts

Off to Philly today to see the first two of five Unwound shows this year. Big Ups to Primavera as no other festival, either US or International, has had the cajones to book them.
Heavy on The Future of What and New Plastic Ideas albums.
