Hey! The independent radio station I help run out of Cincinnati, OH teamed up with the beloved but now defunct station WOXY to revive their Modern Rock 500! It's their top 500 rock songs of all time, happening all week on Inhailer Radio. Our listenership has been through the roof for this, and if you want to check it out, you can do so here: www.inhailer.com/post/inhailer-radio-presents-the-2023-modern-rock-500-a-tribute-to-woxy-fm-s-40-year-legacy

After paying eight dollars for a bottle of Pepsi (not Coke, which is what I wanted) and 17 dollars for a Modelo Especial tallboy at the Cure concert the other night I am looking forward to European food and beverage prices! Yay!
The best thing I had last year was some tacos from the big horseshoe-shaped cafeteria/food stalls. And a burger from the trucks over by Mordor, but i think there’s a stage there now.

Yeah hard to say what it's like year to year but basically everything I got last year was solid. I will probably get wings and bao again if it's back, forget what that place is called but I'll recognize it if it's there. But also a lot of that was that they gave me a shocking amount of wings for six dollars. I kind of wonder if they were at the end of a batch of them or something but it was a deal.
fwiw, it’s insanely easy to sneak one in. The different “water culture” they’ve got going on here is just so insane to me. Easily could’ve passed out from dehydration the first day of the fest, every night when I left the fest I’d drink like a whole 2L of water from the shop right by the exit. Just let people bring in water bottles and have fountains in several locations, it works just fine at US festivals. Lowering the small risk of someone using a water bottle as a projectile is not worth risking peoples health.

I go back and forth on this. I ultimately agree with you but I was at that Toots show where he took a vodka bottle to the head. That's what ultimately killed him. Different situation, I know. Glass vs Plastic but it's not like the plastic wouldn't have hurt.
I wasn't there last year but there needed to be a better way. If you're not gonna allow people to carry in water caps and only getting water through free fountains and purchasing at the bar, then you should probably, at bare minimum, open access to more fountains and let vendors sell water as well.
I read a lot of stories about security keeping a close eye out for tops and making you throw it away. I'll figure something out.

Last year we would bring in two giant empty plastic bottles and put the caps in our socks. Soon as we got in, filled them up, put the caps on, and put them back in our backpack. No one said anything.
I wanna do New Order but I've seen them a few times before vs Amenra who rarely tours the US. I just can't. If they hadn't switched the Amenra Ciudad show in Madrid, there might have been a chance.
Sadly, I have the same issue in Madrid where New Order is opposite of Perfume who I probably won't get another chance to see.

Totally makes sense. The more and more I listen to, it feels like there aren't a lot of wrong choices with this schedule. I'm on the opposite side of that though and caught New Order at Lolla years ago, just once, and don't know how much longer they'll be around. And they're a band that just continuously grows on me and that I grew up with. And the wife loves them. So that's my thought process.

There's never a right or wrong at Primavera schedules.
Unless you're forced to choose Calvin Harris or Måneskin.
