Packing tonight, leaving tomorrow. Getting very excited. Today's the first day off of work. A little bit of flight/travel anxiety, but other than that I'm fucking stoked.

When we went to Vegas for my 30th we flew first class and the flight attendant was mugging me after I ordered a *second* bloody mary too fast. So yeah overall I just avoid the judgment and hassle. I'm on my way to Vegas, bro. Do your job.

I used to get anxiety about traveling. I realized that, for me, it was the fear of not knowing how something worked. After I could actually vocalize what it was that stressed me out, realized that I couldn't control what I didn’t know and (most importantly) there were tons of smarter people who could direct me if I messed up.
Ultimately, if you make it with a passport and a change of clothing, you did better than I did at my first international travel.

they aren’t allowing Camelbaks this year, I really dont understand what the issue is with them. I’m still planning on bringing mine since it could come in handy walking around the city, and I’ll just take the bladder out when I go to the festival

As someone that would never throw something at a concert ever, it's really annoying, but I did see a kid (no older than like 5-6 years old) get hit in the face at a Breaking Benjamin concert once with a full Pepsi/plastic bottle of something. His nose was all bloodied, and it was pretty sad. People got unruly between the opening acts and the band and just started whipping full bottles of everything into the air, and it did feel like it got dangerous pretty quickly. Cool end of that story was after the dad tried to find and fight the culprit, the band brought them on stage and they got to watch the show from the side of the stage.
This is completely anecdotal, and it's annoying but I guess I understand the cap thing. I guess they think they're protecting people from putting alcohol in their camelbacks? I have no fucking idea on that one. Just search em, but I've never seen a no Camelback policy, I don't think?

We want full reports on this. Heck, garageland , if you want to write up a little recap for the paper, you can write your trip off. We'd print it. No pressure, just an option. In nothing else, and this goes for everyone, please post in here about your experience. This lineup is nuts and I'd love to see pictures of the grounds. I really want to do this one someday. It's like a mixture of Coachella and Big Ears. Please someone go see Nation of Language or Purple Disco Machine for me. So happy for you gals and guys.
