rocking with cider here with soft drinks next on the horizon
will admit that my cider pick is mainly just because i haven’t had much and certainly haven’t had any in a place where it would be considered great
for soft drinks, i haven’t drank them more than maybe once every few months in probably 10 years now, and they really just are not that appealing to me. they don’t get me going in the morning, i’d rather get caffeine from other drinks, and simply they really don’t taste that great to me anymore
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I can kind of see what you mean here. I used to go to an orchard that made great cider, so I can’t vote for it at this point because I know how delicious it can be. (They also made apple cider donuts, which were really why we went there, but my voting decision is strictly based on the drink.)
I’m voting soft drinks now because it’s the only thing left on the list that’s a hard no for me. Even if I wouldn’t normally drink them, all the other beverages on here can serve a purpose, but soft drinks have no redeeming qualities.
I'm going to be a wet sandwich and vote straight liquor. I've never enjoyed any hard liquor straight. I did do it a lot to keep up with my groups of friends that'd go hard, but I'd always just rather go beers, wine, or mixed drinks. Last few times I did shots of any straight liquor the night ended badly.

There is good cider and bad cider. I'd agree with esteban that even some sodas can be OK if they're the fancypants kind. But sports drinks are only bad. Any perceived benefit of them can be beaten by dumping a packet of Liquid IV in a bottle of water.

Some of the best shit around. Maybe people associate cider with canned alcoholic drinks. But real apple cider is fucking good as shit if you like apples and apple juice. It's unsweetened and unfiltered giving it a cloudier appearance than shitty apple juice from the store.

You took out milk and sparkling water so it's only fair you take out ciders and sports drinks. Apple juice and sugary salt water shouldn't have lasted this long.

As people constantly remind you, you don’t *actually* play football for Clemson. Unless you are a legitimate top athlete you don’t need sports drink, and even then the benefits are marginal.
