If thinking of a replacement set, wouldn’t go wrong with doing Orebolo or Deer Tick in place of Orville considering they’ll already be in the area
It’s a tough spot to fill. I’m not sure anyone can bring to the table what Orville does.
My request is for Beabadoobee (she’s in NYC the next night to start her US tour), Alex G (has a gap around that time), Trixie Mattel (no tour, but plays random gigs), or Japanese Breakfast (since Covid resulted in her playing to a nonexistent crowd last year during Joni Jam - gap in her tour and will be in Montreal the next weekend)
Tyler would be a fine replacement as well, even if they couldn’t announce it.

Or ferry over The Nude Party who are playing in Nantucket. Most likely they’ll scrape together some cool as sh*t special set, like Let it Be last year. I know it’ll be great but I’m disappointed, love Orville.
Veryyyy bummed about Orville, but hopeful for a solid fill-in. It'll never happen but getting Orville's good buddy Diplo to fill in with "Diplo does Folk" a la "Big Gigantic does Jazz" would REALLY be something unique and different.

Yeah if there’s one thing this fest needs it’s more sets from the same bands already playing
With a month to go to fest, and seeing how they’ve filled gaps in previous years, I’m assuming they’ll go with some iteration of someone who is already there. It’s easier logistically for them

eh, last year when Japanese Breakfast had to move her set, they added Faye Webster. and the other acts that cancelled last year (Durand Jones, Trampled by Turtles, Bonnie Light Horseman) all happened within a week or so of the fest. gotta figure with a month-plus they should be able to pull something in.

right, exactly. orville peck was a pretty big name for this lineup (probably pre-pre-headlining or otherwise closing the Quad), so I'd assume they get a decent fill in
For people who bought after party tickets from multiple devices last year, did you use only 1 account across all of those devices or multiple accounts? Trying to prep for Thursday.
