Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
For people who bought after party tickets from multiple devices last year, did you use only 1 account across all of those devices or multiple accounts? Trying to prep for Thursday.
If I’m remembering correctly, not all after shows sold out in seconds. Marcus Mumford did of course. TMOE took a few minutes - maybe longer - to sell out. And I think For Pete’s Sake, even longer. So last year you could get multiple after show tickets as long as you prioritized the most popular ones first. And if you struck out on one, you still had a chance to try again for another.
(Can’t recall how fast the NBC shows sold out last year. Probably fast.)

The Parlor is back too! Late nights are going to be busy.
If they are doing Pickens, which I assume they are, then that’s the most ever I believe.
I’m curious if they add the church as well.
I bet we get Hozier’d at the Pickens.
Church is probably out. They had said they planned to do the piano recital there, which now looks its at the Tennis Hall of Fame. I know there were some ongoing issues with the church being used inot the evening and that seemed to be how they were trying to smooth things over. Folk Foundation probably figured it wasn't worth angering the neighbors. This is just me guessing though.
I hate that the festival now saves some of its best and most unique bookings for after shows. We have a single collaborative set of covers announced this year (Dawn Landes and Friends), and one of the coolest possible collaborative cover sets is instead saved for an after show.

Yeah, it's hard enough getting a ticket to the festival itself. Then these after-shows are always high demand and very little supply (compared to the festival, anyway).
Definitely frustrating when they put special shows or big names (who aren't even on the lineup) in these slots and you get shut out.

The aftershows have always surpassed the festival for me. Not even close (until last year) Of course we go to just about every aftershow.

It’s what makes the festival a must attend every year. The aftershows Even the years we dont have tickets, we always figure out a way to get in. Getting to know NBC bouncers helped

First year I did after shows in 2016, I was at the Shovels & Rope Busted Jukebox at Jane Pickens sitting next to some other folk and I was lamenting not getting a ticket to the Deer Tick show that night too. They said I'd get in for sure, just needed cash. Sure enough we walked over after Shovels & Rope & friends finished up and all got in 60 or so dollars each later.

The brilliant Jonathon Wilson has some new music and it’s maybe the best thing ive heard/seen in several years. This guy is a genius. I love this song.

Yeah both tracks are great. Def has Roger inspirations in the sound.
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. July 16 - CAKE (Portland, ME) July 28-30 - Newport Folk (#12!) Dec 8-9 - Goosemas!
So do folks think all the after shows are set? Great line up as usual. I think my interest is in this order:
SB at the blues on Friday SG Goodman and friends at the Parlor on Saturday Happiness at the blues on Thursday AO at the pick on Friday Margo at the pick on Saturday - maybe I should give this more thought!? Piano nights (I know these will be rad, just don't know if I can handle after a day at the fort)
Still looking for something to top Dawes and Friends 7/27/13 at the pick:

Surprised goose isn't doing a full set. I'm sure members can and will pop up at other shows but figured they could do a full show of theirs after. Leave it to the after shows to avoid repeats lol

I think we’re still gonna get a Saturday )and maybe Sunday) announcement for blues Cafe.

If we are then I’d assume those are coming directly from Deer Tick and I thought they were done.

Feels like Margo doing the John Prine Tribute is gonna be pretty star studded I would imagine. There’s going to be a good amount of people wanting to participate in that

Dawes and Friends 2013 was one of the best musical nights ive ever experienced. JJ cale passed away that day and Blake changed up the format impromptu. Misty was standing next to us all night before he took the stage and watched the last part of the show with rayland Baxter. Incredible night

Same here! I walked in a song or two late and Jason was shredding Cinnamon Girl with the boys backing him. I was up in the balcony, it was sooooo hot!! What a night!!
I’d love to find a full setlist. Lean On Me with Jim James that night too I think…?
