I went to Bear Creek down in Suwanee FL way back in the day and had a blast. But I was good without having to listen funk for a couple of months after.

I'd recommend the haters check out some contemporary funk bands like Jungle and Parcels! They have good tunes and put on great live shows! Also stop acting like disco and funk aren't the exact same shit!
Pink Floyd Beatles Rolling Stones The Who Led Zeppelin Black Sabbath David Bowie Jimi Hendrix AC/DC Queen
James Brown Parliament-Funkadelic Prince Sly and Family Stone Earth, Wind and Fire Chic Ohio Players
We're talking about some of the best American pop music ever made here. And before you say James Brown and Prince aren't funk, most of their best stuff is.
Floyd are psych, so is Jimi (acid rock), Sabbath are metal. Those categories are represented in the competition so I wouldn't lump them in with generic classic rock.

Not arguing the greatest of your list, but it’s not touching mine. You couldn’t even come up with the same number to match me.

I didn't really care to but if that's how arguments are made.. Betty Davis, Rick James, most of the Stevie Wonder songs people actually care about, the Meters, even Miles explored funk at one point.
And funk is an actual genre with a sound. Classic rock is just lumping a bunch of stuff that came out around the same time. It's a radio format more than a genre.
could be good news. maybe the two guys who book bonnaroo saw how much traction Architects is getting at the premier source of bonnaroo information on the web and offered them a big check to change their US tour to Summer 2023.

Like someone earlier said, it’s all rock and roll. And now it’s all classic . A lot of of the stuff on your list isn’t all the same but could be found on the same pop/soul/funk kind of radio station

We went the last year they had it (2014). It was awesome. Like Suwanee with 3,000 people instead of Suwanee with 30,000 people.
